Looks like a lot of changes to the last section of the game. We actually see a complete Namine at the Station of Awakening for some reason?

If enough is added to the base game and they add more save slots that critical run is gonna be real nice.

LOS ANGELES (Sept. 9, 2019) – Ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, SQUARE ENIX® gave Keyblade wielders an early look at new DLC coming to KINGDOM HEARTS III titled, "Re Mind". This winter, players can experience a new episode as they continue their adventure in the beloved action-RPG series, encountering new obstacles and bosses to battle.

The Tokyo Game Show trailer showcases new story scenes along with Sora's new battle form as he takes on the evil Organization XIII. The new trailer is subtitled in English and available to view on YouTube: https://youtu.be/l4D_Cu9Ad0s.

In the upcoming DLC, players travel to a familiar realm and encounter powerful new bosses. In some of the additional battles, players will be able to switch characters. Players can also obtain additional Keyblades by downloading the free update.

So... what actually IS the dlc? It looks like a couple bonus bosses and MAYBE playing as different characters during boss battles we already played through?

Absolutely not.

From the description:

"KINGDOM HEARTS III Re Mind DLC is coming this winter. Challenge yourself to new boss battles, master Sora's new form, learn more about the members of Organization XIII, and more! "

While I am glad that they do seem to be drastically improving the last chunk of the game (which did seem rushed) I wished Nomura showed more of the new scenarios aside from the data fights. I still can't really tell what this includes

So this DLC is 100% separate from the main game?

Like, I can just pop this DLC on and start playing, I don't need to go through the whole game again or anything to see new stuff?

What I'm asking is if its interwoven in the game or just some completely different part?

Can't feel too hyped for this myself, at least not enough to play it day one. The story stuff will hopefully clear up loose ends but gameplay wise I can't get too excited for fighting these characters again so soon. Playing as others is fun but it's presumably just for one-off fights which is kinda lame.

That was amazing!

Probably won't do much to help with pacing issues, though, as most of the additions seems to be late game, which was already quite content-heavy.

But hey, I'll take it! Can't WAIT to play this.

Some of you really have to get over the FF thing.

Data battles are what I wanted since the whole ending section goes by far too fast.

Nah. They set the expectation, they should understand people are disappointed by no FF cameos, especially in a game where there SHOULD at least be a final ending to the Cloud/Sephiroth subplot.

I don't play the games. It just seems terribly odd that they're gone.

I admit to bias, however. The Disney stuff always kept me away, whereas the FF elements always kept me somewhat intrigued anyway.

Are we getting playable Lingering Will?
That was the unplayable 'Sora VS Roxas from 2' of KH3.
