Probably for the founder edition. The third party cards will probably be way more than that. This is for the 4090 off course. The 4000 series will most likely need 850W right? I have a 750W now and redoing the power supply is always a huge pain in the ass
Na bro, didn't mean yours obviously. There are tech channels actually urging people to go buy 3000 series instead of waiting. Meant those.
They won't do that because AMD will be releasing their RX 7xxx series in October/November and Nvidia would never allow a competitor to claim the performance crown.I could see Nvidia delaying the new series to clear stock. This so called "sale" of theirs is a weak attempt to keep the notion prices are good so they can charge more for the 4000 series. If that doesn't work they will just have a paper launch.
Damn, I'm still waiting to upgrade my Razer gaming laptop with 4000 series. I'm still sporting 1070 from 2018.
I got one with a waterblock last week for way under MSRP. Was supposed to get it today but UPS fucked up. That's said, I haven't even got it yet and I'm happy with it. Even if the 4000 series comes out this year I most likely won't be able to secure one anyways.I got a 3080 12gb at the end of May and I'm honestly really happy with it. Could it have been cheaper? Of course. But with that said the power draw isn't ridiculous, it's very fast, and it should be able to play games well for a long while to come.
Having spent the better part of 2020 till now on a 580 and a 1060 3gb, I didn't want to wait anymore and I'd rather have the card than have to deal with stock issues and instant sellouts. Plus something new is always around the corner.
I do agree that waiting is probably the better move, especially the closer to the end of the year we get, but buying now does have its benefits and we do look to be past the worst of the scalper pricing..
I'm looking to build my first pc with the upcoming 4000/7000 series what do you mean by the pricing of 1000? Was it better? If we can get back to 900 and 1000 series pricing then that will be fine by me. Cards MSRPs keep going up for less and less gains.
Unless you plan on getting a 4080 or higher you'll be just fine. Even with a 4080 you'll probably also be fine. The 4000 series will most likely need 850W right? I have a 750W now and redoing the power supply is always a huge pain in the ass
I'm just wondering how well the 4090 would sell if they shocked us and priced it 1,000I'm figuring there will be a Ti model. Tales from my ass MSRP (not aftermarket) prediction would be more like
4050 - $300
4060 - $400
4060Ti - $500
4070 - $650
4070Ti - $750
4080 - $900
4080Ti - $1200
4090/Ti - More than my monthly net income.
I rather get new laptop since I don't a room for EGPU. Beside better specs all over.
just waiting on the 4060 which will slaughter 1080p/60 for a while
edit: unless it's over 300, then no.
That would suck IMO.
I have a 3,500 budget to build my first pc It's between the 4090 and 7900 xt for me and I'm now leaning towards the 7900 xt cause I'm scared the 4090 will be 2,000 which is a complete rip off for the priceI've been thinking and, if the price is right, I'll try to grab an RDNA3 at launch. I'd kill for a 7800 but given my budget I'm hoping the 7600 will be priced fairly (or maybe 7700 if it's worth the stretch). How much do you folks gather that card could be MSRP?
In the end, are we not in the age of games being capped by the CPU still?
Damn, I'm still waiting to upgrade my Razer gaming laptop with 4000 series. I'm still sporting 1070 from 2018.
I'm on a 1060, I'll upgrade whenever I feel I'm not getting robbed.
I'm still aiming for 1080p60 for the foreseeable future so I don't think I'll need anything fancy TBH. If 3060Ti deals just weren't so absurd...
I'm not buying a new card until I can get something decent for $199-$229. Fuck this shit.
I'm on a 1660 Super. I feel like if I stick with 1080p and with games that support FSR, I can hold on for a few more years.
Yup, this is how I feel about entry-level cards. Even an MSRP for a 3050 is too much IMO. It should be closer to $199.
Man I am still working on this 1080 and not gonna lie some of these newer games would have benefited from having something more powerful. I was thinking of finally biting on a 3XXX series card once the 4XXX series hit but I should still hold out longer?
It would be a dream for me to run modern games at that FPS at 4k!=OHonestly ready to upgrade my 3080. I've had it since launch and it feels like old news at this point. It can run most things at 4K 70-80 FPS but I really want 4K at 120.
