Some really weird takes here. This is a technical test. You are not entitled to have it be ready when you feel it is convenient for you.
Hope the dev team isn't stressing too hard. I wasn't here for the MCC flights but it sounds to me like this is just the way these things go. At least most people in this thread are vibing :)

Well if the re-deploy took about 50min or if this works, we shouldn't have /too/ much longer. That said they can take their time :)
With free to play multiplayer, it would be a shitshow.
Hopefully, they can iron out most/all of these issues prior to release.
F2P will most likely already stack the deck against the servers on day one.
I'll be ready when they are.
I've got a feeling they'll extend the flight tomorrow after it's working for everyone. I'm not expecting it or anything, just have a feeling
Shame its not gonna happen tonight (in the UK at least) but these things happen. Hopefully will all be up and running over the weekend, can't wait to finally try it.
I'm glad they are ultra vigilant to these issues. MCC was their lesson learned. Hopefully their fixes deploy well.

That's why I said feels. Hopefully things pan out and there isn't crazy pressure to work 48 hours straight on a test.
I'm anxious for a chance or impressions. But trying to remain tempered.
Hmm, okay I feel ya on that.
I'd like to think that they more or less planned for stuff to go awry, and had staffing all prepared, rather than having to make hectic calls out to engineers.

yeah after MCC they can take all the time they need. That was an abomination on launch. 343 has come a long way since then.
But this whole topic is more than interesting. When preparing for a test like this, I think that the most important work should not be done in the last 12-24 hours, but everything should be ready 1-2 days before the test so that it can start without any problems.
