It's a new half-life game made for VR. Is this a serious question?

Trust me, you will be immersed. This isn't a question.
'Rayman hands' makes me want to say 'ok boomer' - have you guys played a VR game before?
For everyone pointing out the disconnected hands, it's far more jarring in a 2D space like a video vs. when you're actually immersed in the VR experience. I never noticed them when actually in-game and it's something I'd be sensitive to.
Are you serious? Is a sequel to Half Life 2: Episode 2 the only thing you could conceivably see people being excited for?

Welp. RIP, Campo Santo :(Geoff video confirms Campo Santo devs are on this, along with Jay and Erik as well. Source @ around 16mins.
the second best thing about this game is a non silent protagonist.Floaty hands is disappointing but otherwise looks awesome. Was also worried they'd make Alyx a silent protag so good to hear her voice.
Doesn't look like they will be from the Steam page.I wouldn't hold your breath on Valve supporting macOS anymore.
It will be affordable eventually. Hang tight a few more years.VR only?
Way to alienate those who can't afford a VR headset and machine that can run it 👌🏾
Or it could be that they built the game around VRVR only?

Going from the Final Hours interview, it sounds like the reason we don't have HL3 yet is because everyone at Valve is terrified of making it through fear of not living up to expectations, surely this is a test run to see how well they can pull of a HL experience before going completely in on a sequel.
I'm much more optimistic about HL3 after this.
So...VR only then.
Hmm I doubt I'll have a new PC build by March unless Cyberpunk truly convinces me to go the PC route. I would love to know the specs and average price of a build to run this game at great settings.Correct
This absolutely is the best-looking VR game I've seen and I'm super curious to learn of the specs needed to run this beaut
It greatly pleases me that Valve still got Half Life atmosphere right, art is so on point
