If it is a streaming box, what do you guys feel would be a good price for it? 49$? 99$?

Base set about 40-50 bucks, with expensive-ish subscription service needed. Or 99 with a lighter sub (around 10-15/month)

$99. possibly a little more but they'd aim for that. They need to pack in a decent controller which isn't cheap, and presumably this will need to also be a streaming 4k box for movies/apps, and being google it'll almost certainly have assistant built in so mics etc.
PS Now streams at 720p. It's Ok that this low resolution is acceptable to you and you don't personally notice the difference, but many of us here have slightly higher requirements from home entertainment in 2019 and this is why there's a lot of skepticism surrounding streaming tech.
£/$40 max. Maybe £/$59 with a controller; but considering that the whole point is to get you into their streaming ecosystem they should take a hit on that cost at least.
I would have said "Streaming service," originally, like the full rollout of their Project Stream that I was in the beta of. But in the last couple weeks, it seems like they may be releasing actual hardware too.

IIRC Yeti was the internal code name. Unlikely to be the release name. I'm sure it will be something generic.
yeah this is pretty much tales from my ass -level of just reading things online :D Yeti does not sound like a "googleish" style name for a service.
Google loves using names that can clearly be confused with other products of theirs. I totally see them calling the device "Google Play" regardless of all the other google play services that already exist
Getting mildly excited as to what it is...no leaks,i did do a Google rewards survey yesterday regarding a service priced at $7.99 for apps and games from Google....so that's as close to a leak as to what could be happening I've got
My money's on Google Player or something similarly anodyne.
Most of the games I've been playing looked the same as their PSN counterpart, must be the Upscaler on my TV then...
Mostly I was looking at lag input, latency etc... that's where it was unnoticeable to me.
However, I agree, I need to check on a more graphical intensive game. I'll see what I can find...

I hate to break it to you, but Fiber is dead. It's still running in the cities where it is, but they have stopped expanding.
PlayStation is by all accounts killing it right now, and barring one mishandled home console (PS3, which later recovered), they've been killing it historically. What a weird comment.

Pixel for mobile devices.
Home/Hub for connected home devices.
Google Stream for their gaming devices etc (example)
