I remember there was an insider that said IS was making a remake for the 3DS, but stopped development for it because 3DS games were selling really bad.
They could just move their plans to the Switch and make adjustments.
I can see them skipping FE4 if they want to get guarantee money from Smash fans, i.e Roy or Ike's game(s).

I watched youtuber Mangs FE videos when I was younger. I had unsuscribed from him a long time ago, but watched some of his videos sporadically until last year (?) where some awful allegations came out and were posted here. I refused to watch anything more from him.
From the discussion here everyone seemed to agree Mekkah was the only FE youtuber that came clean from the situation, but he stopped posting videos and then I completely avoided all FE youtube stuff since then.
Now I see both Mangs and Mekkah post videos again. Does anyone follow them? Are the allegations to Mangs still as awful as ever? Does Mekkah make videos with him again or his own thing? I could check on this myself, but if Mangs is still as awful as ever, I refuse to watch his content anymore.

Mangs is as awful as ever. As far as I know, Mekkah doesn't collab with him anymore, but I don't watch his videos often so I'm not positive.
That's because Mangs sexually assaulted several people and has made various sexist and racist comments, prompting Mekkah to cut ties with him.
Granted, a good amount of those comments were public well before they two worked together so why Mekkah was cool with collaborating with a known bigot is beyond me.
I briefly remember him posting up a video about "the truth" (never saw it but i've heard less than ideal impressions of his recollection of the events, and the fact that he didn't even wait a month before posting more content is telling of who they are as a person) which got Goosaphone some harassment, and I remember Mekkah took things personally, hence his hiatus, but other than that, I haven't heard anything else regarding him or or Chaz, and I don't really follow any other FETubers; I just make the Fire Emblem videos I want to make and leave it at that.

So, any last minute predictions for Nintendo's E3 re: Fire Emblem? Or are we all expecting FE4 remake?
Been replaying the game on JP NSO and I really hope the prophecy comes true. I would love to see what changes they make to modernize the game while keeping the spirit of the original. And I bet the cast could be very popular with a remake.

I'll take a localization for the FE4 NSO game at this point lol. Finally have an easy way to play it but I can't read a single thing.
anyways. I personally don't expect anything fire emblem this year.
Pretty much that and maybe some new DLC for Three Houses. Otherwise, that season pass will look like an even bigger waste of money.
I'm expecting an old game getting a remake to be announced: FE4, FE6, or FE9/10. Though because Nintendo put FE4 in the Japan NES library thing I am less likely to believe FE4 will be remade, but who knows. Still pretty excited for this Nintendo Direct.
Those Japanese classes I took 10 years ago (shit it's really been a decade) are paying off! I can at least navigate menus and pick up the odd phrase here and there haha. Knowing how the story goes helps too.
I need to make a cheat sheet for the menu so I can at least figure out if I'll win the fight lol
Not even close; it looks better than the 3DS DLC did solely due to the amount on the storefront being far less excessive.

This is just objectively false, dude. Three Houses' season pass was a mere $25, and its side story missions were frankly some of the best in the game, to say nothing of the pass' many other additions.
Shadows of Valentia's DLC totaled more than the price of game itself, at $45. And IMO only the Deliverance DLC was worth it as a quaint sort of prologue -- and that alone was $13, more than half the Three Houses season pass total.
Awakening's DLC likewise cost $50-something total.
Now, was Three Houses' season pass everything I hoped it would be? No, I mean, coming off of Xenoblade's Torna, I think we all hoped for a more substantial expansion that fleshed out sorely needed aspects of the story. But it was fairly priced for what it was -- a marked improvement for the series.

Fire Emblem DLC is being graded on a curve at this point.
What should it have cost, in your mind? What was it worth? I'd love to know your serious answer, rather than something like "it should have cost nothing because I didn't like it, or it didn't live up to my imagination." It had:
- 7 new chapters, with noticeably better mission design.
- Plus 2 paralogues for the new characters.
- 4 new characters, each with full supports (and consequently, more supports for the rest of the cast).
- Plus Anna, a 5th character without supports.
- A new hub
- Which had new activities, features, lore, etc.
- 4 new classes.
- Several new costumes.
- 5 more auxiliary battles.
$25 was pretty fair for what we got. Anything much less than that would raise eyebrows. The only thing I'd criticize about that price is the inability to purchase segments of the DLC individually as we could before—but when the pass is half the price of old DLC, I can understand why.
And your original point, lest we forget, was how Three Houses' DLC pricing only "looked" fairer than the 3DS games, when in reality as I demonstrated it cost around half what they did. So regardless of what you thought would be fair, it's a major improvement for the series, which yes, was previously quite absurd with its DLC pricing, but is now more in-line with other games.

The sick dream that will definitely wont happen cuz they'll make more money as two separate games is combining FE6 and FE7 into one big remake.

I just don't think any "combo" remake is possible, regardless of the fact that they wouldn't ever do it for monetary reasons.
Like, they struggled hard with Three Houses and its scope, and IIRC it only has like 30-something unique maps split between its 4 routes. That's comparable to how many maps one of FE6 or FE7 would need, and there's little overlap despite their shared setting.
Their struggle with Three Houses—and arguable failure to finish their ambitions in time, with so much missing or comically rushed—also makes it difficult to asses the trajectory of the series' releases, not least which because KT was the primary workforce for 3H, and who knows how the series will be worked on between KT & IS going forward. HD development's a good deal more time consuming than 3DS development.
So... the whole combo idea is sort of a fan fever dream that ignores context. Like the people who think George R.R. Martin has totally been writing both TWOW and ADOS at once (lol).

Arvis is a much better character because people actually knows he is a villain and the game doesnt try to show otherwise. Not tht edelgard is bad, she just has big writing flaws like these that I cant ovelook
