As a Bulls fan, I don't even blame him as much for the missteps with the Bulls now, I place that blame more on Gar Forman and Jerry Reinsdorf.

I'll never forget literally walking out of the room and actually missing Paxon's shot live, because I was sure the Bulls were going to lose.
I think he had another 4 years of championship quality play left in him when he retired. His game was still pretty decent when he came back in the 2000s, not sure if the bulls win any more without Pippen or Phil but it makes for an interesting "what if" scenario for sure
I think the big what if is if he had come back the 2nd time for a good team, not the Wizards.
