Sounds terrific. I've consulted help fairly often for Bloodborne, so this could be a really useful feature - and particularly convenient if it's so readibly accessible.
possibly since they said they kept some glitches intact on purposeIt would be so funny if they would do Videos that try to explain to you how to glitch some encounters lol. I know they removed the possibility to kill bosses through Fog Gates but it would be hilarious if they would do Videos like that.
Lol that should be a legit hashtag. I might get this. Having the help right up on the screen without pausing or anything is usefulDark Souls 3 Official Guide released same day as the WW launch.
But... but I like it ! #NotAllSoulsFans
Around 4:09 in this video:Will it hold my hand all the way till the end?
Curious to see how this works
Post how many quotes you will get lol.
True but that didn't stop people like things like PhotoMode.PS5 Activies is one of those features that will pretty much only get developed for if the devs have some kind of deal with Sony or they somehow really, really, really like it. It's a pain in the ass to develop for, something you can pretty much only work at the very end of the production, when you're already swarmed with a shitton of issues.
And AFAIK, it's not a Sony TRC to have it. So I don't see it being widely used on games that aren't first party past the first few releases. Or for huge studios like Ubisoft who can spare throwing bodies at this until the end of time.
Blanket statements smh, imagine Sanji fans getting one-sidedly shat on and i am a sanji fan. You know there's more nuance to life.
Have any devs talked about how developing the activities is like? I could see most games having some stuff like accessing multiplayer or a save from them but stuff like the guide videos only being done by the first party devs.PS5 Activies is one of those features that will pretty much only get developed for if the devs have some kind of deal with Sony or they somehow really, really, really like it. As newcomers seem to distrust any friendly gestures from souls fans maybe a cold hard facts guide will be the helping hand they can accept.Having this help would be great for newcomers to the Souls games.
An Insomniac engineer said (back when the PS5 UI video) that he would offer more details after either an embargo or Spidey was out. So I guess in a couple of weeks.Have any devs talked about how developing the activities is like? only to find out the guide is running in god mode. but the thought was there. As newcomers seem to distrust any friendly gestures from souls fans maybe a cold hard facts guide will be the helping hand they can accept.
Pfft we all do get shat on tho 😂😂🤣Blanket statements smh, imagine Sanji fans getting one-sidedly shat on and i am a sanji fan. You know there's more nuance to life.
If it's just information about item locations, then the adventure won't be that different. It would be funny if it had a guide to item duping.only to find out the guide is running in god mode. but the thought was there.
Either I'm completely misunderstanding the comment or it sounds like you didn't see the UI video. They showed it action.
I second this.
Well if you don't care about discovering anything for yourself it can't ruin anything. This is fantastic for a game that can become very obscure and confusing sometimes.
Hopefully people won't think this is bad or it "ruins the experience and goes against what the creators wanted". But they will.
Optional streaming for those videos? Seems like it would be a waste of bandwidth use for a lot of people.
I'm joking. It's optional so you'll be fine.
Excellent point. It stifles that community interaction. It's intentional. A way of forming a community that works to piece the game together. Having this work all done by the developer ahead of time short-circuits that community building.
Yeah, but these, like the signs placed in the world by other players, are community creations.
