Today, CD Projekt Red started a series on Twitter focused on the lore of Night City, circa 2077 - specifically the gangs and corporations.

Gameplay for any unreleased game is always subjected to change. That being said, I do agree that I would love to see more gameplay from Cyberpunk but its not a huge deal.

Honestly we don't need gameplay yet but introducing gangs could at least be 1 min video showing them in game with some music in background (also from game) instead of just some text and gang logo.

5 months from launch? Aside from bugs that are still be fixed, which they obviously wouldn't be showing off, it shouldn't be changing significantly at this state. Unless it's not actually coming out in 5 months...

Plus, if they're showing off corporations/gangs they could at least show some key characters, of their territories or something

Idk. But I do believe they'll do a huge preview event maybe this summer if the virus doesn't affect their plans TOO much.

Still at the point where I don't expect them to do deep dives on the interesting aspects to the life of the game and then hope any disappointment/criticism is drowned out in the immense torrent of praise it will inevitably receive. Frustrating as there's much to love but still feel any hype being tempered by the reservedness around things.

With the TLoU2 delay, knowing we could have been playing CP2077 in 8 days stings even more so

I don't understand why CDPR have been so skimpy with gameplay footage for this. Hell, the game was already supposed to be out very soon and we're still getting the tiniest little teases of even just info. I may be wrong but I remember them being all for showing massive amounts of TW3 and then saying "Oh this is just the tutorial area". I'm really hoping they are just keeping it quiet to surprise everyone but the cynical part of me is worried.

It's called building hype. They even explained all of this. They know this is a huge game and so they are parceling out info drip by drip to keep people hooked until it releases. Especially as it has been pushed back they need to be judicious with their info dumps. We don't know if Covid-19 is causing further delays as they try to crunch the game out so the drip of info doesn't surprise me at all. We'll see more in the month leading up to launch for sure. Patience.

We are our own worst enemies with why we dont get footage or screenshots.

Remember ubisoft ? Yeah. Remember witcher 3 ? Exactly.

If they show ANYTHING other than the retail release hard pressed on disc they will be crucified with any changes that happen along the development path.

Every bit of footage we got so far has been plastered with disclaimers that it's not final.

The product we will get wont be as pretty, wont live up to everything we have seen but it still will be am amazing game.

But the next time we see it, regardless of what we think, say or complain about will be what we get in our hands.

The game code was submitted for age rating, so it's content locked at this point. It's just polishing and bug squashing until release.
