Wonder if that means they'll have something to show during the TGAs. Give me that hype lineup of Batman, BotW 2, Elden Ring and Dragon Age.

Why?

Like for real, why? We know for a fact that the game is AT LEAST 3 years away. Instead of doing MEA style updates/promises just work on the game and then show up in a big way in E3 2021 or something.

Its a hard to get excited over the company who damaged their name to the ground. They went not one, not two, but 3 times in a row through development and management hell with their games.

Bioware lol. I can't believe they actually wrote that. That's the kind of thing someone would tweet as a joke.
Last year, some Dragon Age fans created the "Dragon Age Day" on December 4th because Mass Effect had the N7 Day, and they also wanted to celebrate DA. BioWare didn't make it an official thing last year, but supported it. This time, they're doing it, from what it seems.

So, even though they were the ones that tweeted "Dragon 4ge," they were probably doing it to help show why it was happening that day - and that was a community initiative.

It's way way way too soon to see anything substantial from Bioware. I wouldn't expect anything more than concept art and discussion on story, lore, etc.

Please be good. I just want to see the ending to the story. I'm just hoping for Tevinter to be the setting and for it to be the ending of the series and to be passably good.

Usually when a show, movie, or franchise hits a big anniversary like this I end up saying "Wow, I can't believe it's been 10 years already!"

Yet somehow this time it feels like Dragon-Age has been around longer than 10 years. I'm like, "It's only been 10 years?"

Before anyone gets TOO excited, remember that EA just recently told investors that the EARLIEST the game would come out is April 2022.

God I should probably make a third attempt to actually play Dragon Age 3. The gameplay is just so unfun but I love the lore so much.

This is one of my most hotly-anticipated games despite, well, everything, because I love Inquisition and the overall story of Thedas and I replay these games every two years without fail.

That said, we know this game is at least two-and-a-half years away. At least. So I'd brace yourselves, everyone, for a long, long tail of "At BioWare, we're pushing ourselves to explore new vertical heights of gaming with choices that matter, unforgettable moments, and cutting-edge approaches to the future of the games industry. Also, here's a blink-and-you'll-miss it concept art of a mountain."

I just hope they learned from Andromeda and Anthem mistake, also Patrick Weeker and Mark Darrah being involved is pretty much the reason I still have hope for DA4.

Same, heck I would be more than satisfied if DA4 turns to be around Inquisition/Trespasser level of quality.

I have zero faith in Bioware anymore after the disasters that were Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem.

One of my favorite franchise and one isn't tainted yet by Bioware (I love 2 even with it's huge shortcomings). Hopefully this is a return to form and then some

Why, the game barely exists right now. They just started and it won't be coming out for another 3 years

I have a tough time imagining BioWare's upper management learning from driving a car off a bridge if they lived to tell the tale, but Weekes and Darrah (mainly Weekes) are the reasons I'm still hopeful from a team lead standpoint, yeah.

I think a lot of this boils down to how folks feel about Inquisition. It's no secret ResetEra isn't overly fond overall. But I consider it the best game BioWare has put out since 2010. That might not be too high a bar, granted. But still. lol

There are dozens of us !

Oh also Inqusition's cast is much better than Origins's.

Which Bioware is making Dragon Age?

Edmonton, I'm pretty sure Anthem is now handled by Austin.

I have no excitement until they flat out say there's no inquisitor style point system.
I legitimately feel Inquisition from a game-play perspective is just way too ingrained in its cancelled MMO roots that I don't need more of what feels like busy work the game.
