Battlefield V - New Map Takes Players To Greece, Releases May 30

Oh, yikes.
I dropped the game because the maps were pretty bad. Only perhaps two that I liked. Gameplay is good though.
It honestly came out so shortly after launch that I sort of thought it was a base map.

That clearly means it's the start of a new "chapter" and we'll have two new maps by fall, not two new maps in June.It's in the road map, my dude.
It took them more than half a year to add a second new map and make players not invisible all the time.
As high as I was on BFV near launch, my opinion of the game is pretty low now. What a horribly mismanaged product.

That's why I was never on board when everybody else was celebrating it, I knew what the end result was.
Is DICE working on a new game? I wish they stop wasting resources on battlefront 2 and bf5.
Sorry, but the visibility was trash from day 1. Prior to the recent fix, you could have typed your reply laying prone on your back in the middle of an enemy team without getting killed.

I think we are both wrong. It doesn't say by june, but doesn't say by fall either. I'll leave it at that then.
No I don't think they are.
The Next Chapter starts in June and the 5th Chapter starts in the Fall.
So between June till the start of Fall is when the maps will release.

You guys want free DLC, this is always how slow it's been. Overwatch is like 5 years old, how many new maps have they gotten in that time?

Free DLC whatever doesnt always mean they work like OW/BFV does.
You could check something like Path of Exile and see all the DLC/content it got since release, its MASSIVE amount.

I'm no game dev but a Battlefield 5 map seems like far more work than anything added in PoE.
The loser has to include a tag in every post for a year "I don't understand clear advertising and when to admit I was wrong".

The Pacific front and maps are definitely coming. This was data mined from the latest patch.
Im not dev either but im sure the amount of work is not little in PoE maps, mechanics and everything they add every few months, and it all have to work together.
I like the visual, that much color feel nice. Hope the map is good.
And one of them might not even be for 64 players modes.
This means absolutely nothing. Battlefield games get played for years and years. Hilarious anytime someone says this
Maybe on consoles, but BF4 and 1, let alone 3, are all as good as dead on PC.
I personally don't miss premium, the new maps were cool but after a few months they often fell off server rotations and you eventually couldn't get a game in any of the new modes or maps anymore as the playerbase dropped off. I got premiums for 3 and 4 and a year later it was already almost impossible to find any matches on the dlc maps/modes
Eh didn't help that they were wasting so much time on their crappy coop mode and then all the work on the Battle Royale mode as well.
Biggest problem with the franchise has been it keeps spreading itself too far when it should have a much simpler focus on what made Battlefield great, and just give us content for that instead of keep working on shit that the playerbase abandons quickly
