The sign up wizard was super buggy for me yesterday and didn't have options showing and required a few login/logout attempts to show.

Try the link from the email again? Sometimes going directly to the community portal does not show anything.
Go back in time, sign up as an EA Playtester, come back in time, pray you get an invite.

Unlikely given that the entire playtest is covered under NDA.
Battlefield "influencers" have already had private viewings of the game.

Keep in mind that is tied to the invitations, so if you have done something like registered, if they don't have your email in the database and marked as invited, maybe it was for nothing.

I'd imagine that some Streamers/YouTubers might get approval to upload some videos too not long after.

If this is truly is gray block test then they have no reason to allow official streaming or video releases. They would get shit on from great heights by ignorant gamers for game being nothing more than gray shapes.
Makes sense, I just figure they might let them do some videos about their experience, potentially with B-roll etc.

They stated Orbital would be the technical test map back in June on the website.
Gameplay always leaks, but this is already confirmed by DICE to be a greybox text, so it'll be pretty useless.
Also there's going to be an open beta in September, they'll announce it at Gamescom no doubt.
