HBO max continues to be THEE superior platform. The content is outstanding. Theaters are going to have to systematically change the way that they handle or being in customers to even survive if they're not already done
Yes you are my friend.
When studios stop putting the movies on their streaming platforms in 2022.
So will this come with no additional cost? Or will they charge $30 or more?
The MAKING of these types of films for unproduced tent-pole releases is gonna change big time, i'm betting on it. 350M budget behemoths without the theater backbone first runs. I'm scared, hold me.When studios stop putting the movies on their streaming platforms in 2022.
I have a 55 inch TV not a 65 foot screen? That's probably how I'll justify it.
With Disney signaling something similiar and cinemas being basically on the verge of default the writing has been on the wallWonder if they be doing this if they hadn't pushed Tenet into that fool's errand?
Wonder if they be doing this if they hadn't pushed Tenet into that fool's errand?
I think this would have happened regardless, but the general performance for Tenet definitely exposed an underlying distaste for theatrical outings in the US at this juncture.Wonder if they be doing this if they hadn't pushed Tenet into that fool's errand?
Well yeah, but what about streaming? They are showing them in the theather, starting with Wonder Woman 84 on the 25th of December.
Theaters that adapt can survive. Just look at Alamo Drafthouse.I really really really hate this. As someone who works in the TV/Film Industry, this is not good news. I really want the big screen theater model to survive.
Ugh.
