i think the original mirror shield you linked is kinda bad for the same reason the shield in zelda 1 is bad, it legit just has a real religious symbol on it for no good reason

The Grey Warden shield still holds a special place in my heart.
Just wrapped up DMC5, and this thing basically saved me from losing my mind at the Vergil final boss.
Love me the Draconian Deflector. It's simple but reminds me of good times.

I have this equipped on all my warriors for my current playthrough, because of course, now I'm scrambling for the materials to build the shield I posted. Even with mods, the material grind can kiss my ass.

If you mean by stats, KH1 mighty shield is insane. It gives +15 strength. Or 7 elements gives +4mp which is more than any accessory or even keyblade in the game.
