It's always fun to me to highlight the wide range of VA's in the gaming industry. Sometimes it's fun trivia and sometimes it's a genuine surprise. So if you've ever been surprised by finding out two characters share a VA or wanted to highlight another's range here's the thread.

Was inspired by Square officially unveiling the english cast for the FFVII Remake.

Like James Sie as professor Hojo.

Or as people who watched Kids WB growing up may remember him as....

The voice of Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures.

As for one that impressed me was finding out Robbie Daymond, probably best known as Prompto and Akechi...

Was also the voice for Kenshiro in Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise.

When I played those games a few months ago my sister heard Fenix's voice and was like "hey wait is that Drakken from Kim Possible?" and now its practically impossible for me to not hear it in his voice

But for me I think the biggest surprise of actor was Laura Bailey being Kaine in the original Nier and also like so many other great video game characters (most notably Vale from Halo 5 and Kait from Gears of War)

Vaguely remember reading that the creators of Kung Fu Panda did not know this either when they casted him, but can't find the source at the moment.

Kim Possible herself did Yuffie Kisaragi's voice in Advent Children.

Still the best one, too. Throw money at her to come back for FF7R.

Megumi Toyoguchi voicing Aqua in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in January 2010 then voicing Junko Enoshima in Dangan Ronpa in Spetember 2010.

Here's some anime to gaming fun facts.

Miyu Irino voices Sora in the Kingdom Hearts series. In 2013, he would voice Astral, the deuteragonist, in Yugioh! ZeXal.

Tasuku Hatanaka voiced Yuma, the protagonist, in ZeXal. In KH3 ReMind he voices..... Let's just call it a reunion for the actors.

For this, I was looking through BTVA for assorted Dark Souls VAs. I had previously found out that Andre/Petrus/Ingward share a voice actor with Azurda in Xenoblade 2 (since Gramps and Ingward sound very similar.)

Apparently the actor, Sean Barrett and Solaire's VA Daniel Flynn had also featured together in the Manga Entertainment dub of Cyber City Oedo, where Flynn delivered the immortal line:

is German McCree in OW:

I didn't notice at first, because I only heard him speaking German until Altered Carbon. Then my brother pointed it out and now since I heard it and can't unhear it. His take on McCree is amazing, though, and fits perfectly.
