So this month is pretty big. Maybe even the biggest of the year. We've got season 2 the best video game adaptation ever unless you really love PlayStation in Arcane for Netflix, you know who isn't returned for Yellowstone on Paramount though unfortunately Beth is, Apple's second-best but still great mystery box show Silo returns and they're also bringing out season 2 of what literally everyone assumed was a limited series with Bad Sisters. Oh, and the love story that's gone on far too long but I will still watch, Outlander, is also back for another eight episodes that we're still calling season 7. Finally, the Sex Lives of College Girls returns on HBO which is criminally underrated.

And that's just what's returning. For new shows we've got Billy Bob Thornton's Landman on Paramount+ and yes, it's a Sheridan show so it's almost certainly good or great. Amazon is remaking Cruel Intentions with a dressing of college Greek life. They're also making Citadel: Honey Bunny, which is an Indian prequel to Citadel and that will probably continue to be the least popular TV cinematic universe. And yeah, we're still not done with Amazon because they're also catering to the popcorn-flick hero audience with Cross, which is based on the James Patterson book series and looks pretty great. Speaking of books, HBO is trying to squeeze more juice from the Dune universe and is premiering Dune: Prophecy. Finally, I'll note that this month's FX series looks pretty cool -- it's Say Nothing.

There's a ton more cool, new shows so definitely don't just trust these paragraphs. As if anyone reads them anyway. Enjoy!

A bit of a light month imo, but well earned after the incredibly packed October (I think there were like 8 shows I started and dropped last month). With November, it's quality over quantity.

Will watch:
Invincible Fight Girl - I need some good fun animation to watch now that Vox Machina S3 is over and this looks quite good
Arcane S2 - see above. But also Arcane is just leagues above anything and will probably hurt me emotionally. This will be an event
The Day of the Jackal - wouldn't be paying attention if it wasn't Redmayne in the role. It's such an odd pick for him that I want to at least check it out
Silo S2 - S1 was so good, a sci-fi mystery that didn't let itself get bogged down in the reveals themselves, but rather what they mean. Excited to see where the story goes next
Dune: Prophecy - a prequel to my current (and likely) movie of the year? Sign me up

So yeah, just 5 shows. But barring Day of the Jackal (a "why not?" pick) I'm really excited about all of them.

Will continue watching:
American Crime Story: Aaron Hernandez - Ryan Murphy sure knows how to tell lurid stories and not much else. Can't even hate, it works
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place
Disclaimer
- This is excellent, check it out if you're not watching. Pure cinema
The Penguin - only 2 episodes left to go and I'm not ready to say goodbye. They made this such a rich and intriguing version of Gotham. I almost don't even care about going back to Batman's superheroics, just let me watch more criminals
The Franchise - against all odds, I'm still watching. It's really not funny and there's like 3 unnecessary, unfunny, comic relief sidekicks. But as a fan of superhero cinematic universes and their behind-the-scenes goings-on, the satire works

Thanks for the thread once again OP!

Probably Day of the Jackal and maybe sometime in the future, The Agency. Nothing too exciting this month. Citadel: Honey Bunny looks interesting, depending on reviews.

Finishing up Agatha next week. Starting The Diplomat S2 soon and Interview With the Vampire S2 (Blu-ray).

Thanks for the thread 9wilds

Busy month indeed. Not one, not two, but three heist based shows! Dune looks like a highlight.

I'm still enjoying Heels S2. I watched the latest AHS season leading up to Halloween and it sucked. On to Hysteria and Teacup soon I think. Time to start Penguin shortly also. We've actually been quite enjoying The Ark lately, a SyFy sci-fi show about arks in search of new planets to colonize after Earth is failing. It's no Expanse or BSG tier, but it's decent if you like space based stuff.

New:

6th : Citadel Honey Bunny (Amazon)
8th : Bank Under Siege (Netflix)
14th : Cross (Amazon)
14th : Say Nothing (Hulu)
14th : Day of the Jackal (Peacock)
17th : Landman (Paramount+)
17th : Dune Prophecy (Max)
19th : Interior Chinatown (Hulu)
22nd : The Helicopter Heist (Netflix)
29th : The Agency (Paramount+)

Returning:

9th : Arcane (Netflix)

I'll get to the returning Apple shows next time I have it. I did not expect more Bad Sisters. It was good though. Silo was a bit average.

I think Cobra Kai's season is in three parts? I'll wait for the final part.

There will likely be a Black Friday deal for Starz, to finish Outlander.
