I'm trying to imagine why the tweet would end like that if not because they know that people will be angry at this announcement.
most of the nominations should be for tweets from people who don't know what the fuck an NFT is but is in on it regardless
the way this tweet is written makes it sound like they want to sell the right to a character's voice. which makes no sense because the actor doesn't own the rights to the character's voice - the publisher does.
Is this like a soundboard or vocaloid or something? We can make stuff with their voice? Can we, say, use in animations an make money off of those without fear of repercussion since we own the voice?
How do we have exclusive ownership or some other chowderhead's voice? Are they still free to act as the character?
Can they stop with this NFT nonsense? How is everyone this foolish and stupid getting into this obvious money scheme. A fake receipt does mean you own anything. Artificial scarcity is not good. It doesn't actually work the way you think it does.

I vaguely remember seeing something a while ago about how one of the trademarks of NFT Twitter accounts is just randomly tweeting Elon Musk in the hopes that he'll make them popular, so I guess this is a good(?) sign.
