TJD (MingZhi Integrated Corporation Co., LTD.) announced their first handheld gaming PC - they're a Chinese manufacturer that mostly make ugly beautiful tablets and laptops.

The specs are pretty great!

  • 10.1" 1920x1200 IPS display
  • 60 watt hour battery
  • 890g weight
  • CPU options - AMD Ryzen 5 7640U / AMD Ryzen 7 7840U
  • GPU options - AMD Radeon 760M AMD Radeon 780M
  • RAM options - up to 64GB of LPDDR5X
  • SSD options - up to 4TB NVMe
  • All the other gubbins like like RGB, a microSD slot, yadda yadda.

But look at how much of a LOOKER this thing is!

Maybe I'm boring but the design doesn't really appeal to me. I think the Deck and the Ally both look a lot nicer.

It's astonishingly something all right.

I don't know what I expected when I clicked on the thread but it sure as hell wasn't...that.

Looks like they did all their design work with a 6 or 7 inch screen then spent 2 minutes in CAD stretching it to 10 inches

1200p wasting all my battery

it's nice but i mean i don't think these kinds of things really understand what handheld gamers are into.

edit: also it's over 200g heavier than a steam deck.
