The ending was definitely cut down to hell and back but the show manages to be enjoyable and the characters memorable in spite of the so-so ending.
The opening song is also a banger.

Good, because Echo was actually good compared to the other shows we got. Looking at you Secret Invasion 🙄
Cool. I still think the Disney+ shows have been a net positive for the MCU, especially now that Daredevil is canon.
Marvel needs to cut bait on the multiverse saga and embrace the street-level hero stories that have been so good (including Spider Man in this)
Street level Marvel is my sweet spot. Would be nice to see them in the movies as well, but I'm sure it's coming
Show started strong but last couple eps I didn't care for. Alaqua Cox was great though and would definitely love to see more of Maya.
Great to hear, & I'm guessing that Spider-Man 4 will act as the Avengers-level crossover event for all the street-level heroes.
Either way, looks like the MCU is starting what's supposed to be a lighter 2024 on a high note. Hell, I'd be down for Kamala going for a more lighter side of the street-level stuff since those were the best parts of her show (& the comics).

Disney must be happy they can quickly capitalize on this with a daredevil series over a year from now
i liked it. was surprised at how negative the negativity was compared to a lot of other marvel shows. like i thought the shorter length served it better compared to something like daredevil 2 which just made me bored and sad.
Haven't watched it yet, but very excited to get started. Although I do have to wonder if Disney has perhaps thought at all about continuing their stories in ongoing series? Crazy idea, could work.
