THQ Nordic showcase is tomorrow, are we going to see Darksiders 4 reveal?

I sure do hope so. I know a lot of people don't like to count Genesis as Strife's game because it was 'shared with War' and different from the others, but there's no rule in place saying it can't count lol

Destroy All Humans 2 and some Spongebob game for sure since they've been doing small teases on Twitter.
I'm only interested in Timesplitters 4 or a HD collection. Darksiders 3 really soured me in that series.
Now that I think about it, each the games with different horseman was different than the last with the same core hack n slash gameplay…
-Darksiders one a Zelda clone
-Darksiders 2 was Zelda-ish with loot
-Darksiders 3 was mostly an action game
-Darksiders Genesis was top down
Wonder if Darksiders 4 will continue this trend.

TimeSplitters is a Deep Silver IP and they opened/re-opened Free Radical in May 2021, don't expect anything for a long time
I would hope they show the next Darksiders. For me 2 was the best one in the series, and I hope they go back to the dungeon designs with light RPG elements and fast, flashy combat.
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh but iirc Timesplitters has been worked on for a bit more than that
I would like the series to continue the tradition of each entry being its own beast.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Darksiders 3, it was less Zelda and more Dark Souls. It wasn't bad at all, just not the direction I would have liked.
Darksiders 2 has some of my favorite combat ever in an action game, it's just so snappy and satisfying, so 3 going a bit slower and methodical was a bummer for me. Still want to go back to it eventually, because it was a pretty solid game on its own, I think I'll try it out on the Steam Deck when I get it.
Curious what direction they'll go with Darksiders 4. If they do go co-op finally maybe they'll go for a Diablo style game, but I wouldn't want to lose the Zelda influences with exploration/dungeons/puzzle-solving.
Maybe they'll structure it like Marvel's Avengers where it has a single player with co-op stuff being post-game content (except make it good, haha).

I wish they counted Genesis as the Strife game and gave us the team-up game we've been waiting for already. Shit or get off the pot.

That's how it felt to me, although they could do a proper Strife game.
I think we need to accept that the idea of the four player game with all horsemen will never come to fruition, and even if it did it would inevitably be disappointing.
I would take an isometric view like in Genesis for a sequel, as that might include all four horsemen. I thought it was one of the best games in the series and would better suit the kind of cooperative gameplay you'd want.

The Gothic 1 remake (and how much it changed from the past "teaser demo") is what I'm the most curious to see, but hey, if there are more surprises on top of it I'm not going to complain.
Honestly yeah, I don't have my hopes up. Gothic remake is probably going to be the most interesting thing they show.
