can anyone give me the rundown on recent leaks/ speculation?

For the past few hours

Vergeben and some other leakers are heavily implying that we would get a playable Minecraft character in Smash.

One of them (I think Verg) said that the Square Enix character is so under wraps that even having the character get leaked would get someone fired. Implying this character is a big deal.

Shinji Hashimoto made a reply tweet saying simply "Yes" to a fan tweeting support for Sora in Smash and he then deleted the Tweet.

We'll get Rex and Pyra and Sproing Man definitely. Maybe a BOTW rep. Maybe a character from The Wonderful 102.

Assuming the rumors are true we still got 8 Nintendo characters in a 13 character roster. There's also a chance Elma could be in so that's 9 out of 14.

Also he commented on Castlevania Collection, Simon (and Snake I think), and another few things first before DasVergeben so I'm positive that he piggybacked on those stuff but I will give DasVergeben the credit for Isabelle for sure, and 7th Pokemon that weren't "Decidueye, Lycanroc and Mimikyu".

Did I miss the persona 4 announcement in the last direct? Or can we selectively decide which leaks DasVergeben ripped from Steath and which he didn't based upon which are correct and incorrect?

Smash's version of Pikachu is the coolest by far. Anime chu has a lot of individual moments but the smash move set and animations are just too good.

Now I just wish they brought back the electrocution skeletons from Smash64. Was that considered too violent or too much extra work?

Yeah, I'd be fine with Sora, Incieroar, Elma and Steve. Mostly because Elma is cool, but Sora would alleviate most of the salt caused by Steve.

So you're thinking a Smash Direct in October with Incineroar and Steve.

Then a Direct in November with Elma and Sora?

Personally I would just have Incineroar be revealed on his own in October and then do a Direct early in November with Elma, Steve, and Sora. With Ken, and Shadow as Echoes and maybe Dixie Kong as an Echo or maybe upgraded Semi Clone. That way we can get 16 characters with 8 original, 6 Echoes, and 2 Semi Clones upgraded from Echoes.

I just like that Snake, this ultimate soldier, thinks that taking out his RPG is the quickest option and gets blown away.
