It's actually a new rendition of the theme, but it does sound a lot like that version.

Whoa, that's a lot more than they show in the trailer. A rat tail to further expand older jobs? Chaos equipment? A new difficulty? This is pretty nice.

Not it matters that much but could it be another remix similar to how all of the other returning songs were remixes?

That'd be interesting. It really is very similar to the XIV version. Not even the Pixel Remaster version sounds that close.

Yea it's a new rendition in the same key/register i wanna say. But I'm not well read on musical terminology or anything. Could be using the same samples as XIV's rendition, as the Somnus track has some of the same samples used in some of the XIII trilogy's music (by my ear at least). SoP's OST has lots of little nods like that in it's music (or maybe im just hearing things lol)

Hyped for Staves and the new jobs.

On one hand I'm mildly devastated that we're not in for a remix of the game where you play as the Warriors of Light and swap between them during combat.

On the other hand I am all in for more of Jack hamming it up with villain dialogue. The whole climax of FFO was worth it for that.

Nojima and Nomura the kinda weirdos who are gonna make a plot twist out of Dragoon there being in the Warriors of Light despite not being from FF1.

Can you not buy this individually
Only available in the Season Pass, with the next two campaigns.

I'm in! Hopefully the trophies aren't hard as it took work to get the platinum.

Looking forward to this after I come back from vacation! I really hope the game has been successful for them, I'd love to see an Origin game tackle Emperor Paramekia or Xande's backstories .

Did they improve the performance of the game on PS5? I want to get the game but I remember reading a lot of stuff about the gaming looking blurry and having a lot of frame drops on the resolution mode which is weird because they also made Nioh and it runs great on PS5.

Did they actually fix the models? Or just reduce graphics options for better performance? From what I had read, a lot of the models were way higher poly than they should have been, in some cases maybe just exports from zbrush. Game performed way worse than it should have for how it looked, especially compared to Nioh 2 running on (presumably) the same engine.

For the record I played on PC, and it was pretty rough around launch time. Got through the main game, I think, or just before the end, and decided to put it on hold hoping they'd fix it along with the DLC.

I beat the game prior to the performance update (which also toned down some of the absurd difficulty in the endgame and I demand I be given a trophy for winning against enemies who'd shatter my Break gauge in one hit) but afaik everything's been improved.

Did the PC version ever get fixed? And is it going to be EGS exclusive forever?
