Was gonna mention that. Todd kept talking about their new animation system for Skyrim like it was a big deal and still turned out to be serviceable at best.
I can already see todd bragging on stage about how you can now strafe while running.
yeah, I was about to say... And also the AI... And the quest system... And the renderer...
I think he's dancing.

Take out your dagger for extra speed.
As much as we joke and take stabs at Bethesda, most of us would like nothing but a new game from them that stands should to shoulder with the rest of the AAA industry in terms of production value.ITT people who take memes at face value act like they know anything about video game animation systems.
Ah, yes, because implying that Bethesda lies about upgrading their engine with every release obviously comes from a place of love.As much as we joke and take stabs at Bethesda, most of us would like nothing but a new game from them that stands should to shoulder with the rest of the AAA industry in terms of production value.
They may not lie about it but it's almost always underwhelming results.Ah, yes, because implying that Bethesda lies about upgrading their engine with every release obviously comes from a place of love.
Unless it has motion capture it wont wow anymore though. Its 2020.
Oblivion's engine was a big step up from Morrowind's, and Skyrim's engine was a big step up from Oblivion's. There's no lie there. Yes Fallouts' engine upgrades were very small, but Bethesda tends to put a lot of work into TES (their own IP) while the Fallout games get only minor improvements. Starfield, as an IP they created, is very likely to get significant upgrades. They may not lie about it but it's almost always underwhelming results.
