Sony Direct PS5 Preorders: New PS5 Accessories launch date: OCT-30-2020

I just got an email about my PS5 pre-order from Sony Direct. Looks like they are shipping the PS5 accessories early. It says the new launch date for the pre-ordered items will now be 10/30/2020.

Just wanted to give a heads up to let people know that Sony will be billing their cards early and shipping the accessories out before the console.

Check your email...

I got a similar email from GAME UK. They said games and accessories now ship on November 12th, but since I got a bundle with an extra controller, they will ship them together with the console on the 19th.

I just logged into the Sony Direct site and checked my pre-order.

The console still shows a Nov-12-2020 date.

The extra controller, controller charging doc, and camera now show an OCT-30-2020 date.

So it does look like it's all accessories and not the console.

Rush_Khan Thanks. I didn't order any games from the Sony Direct site so I can't confirm they are shipping earlier than the console.
