So my dad had an HBO Max subscription this whole time, what should I catch up on (besides Peacemaker, that’s first on my list)?

The title more or less speaks for itself. Last night, I found out that my dad had a HBO Max through our cable provider (Comcast). So now I have a ton of shows & movies to catch up on. I was probably going to get it on my own once Harley Quinn Season 3 started, but my dad saved me the trouble.

Once I finish Peacemaker, what should I get to afterwards?

If you enjoy Peacemaker I'd second Doom Patrol. Favorite thing on TV right now and they have similar tones with different approaches.

Personally enjoyed Succession and Euphoria. Rich people be terrible to each other with a touch of cringe with one and prosthetic dicks everywhere with the other.

Edit: Actually yeah fuck those shows watch Chernobyl!

It's rough with some edge early 2000s humor during the earlier seasons but fuck if Venture Brothers isn't a fun watch. Infinity Train is some pretty cool sci-fi with a weird combination of wholesomeness and tragedy.

Movie wise yeah might as well catch up with the latest Hollywood megaepic with Dune and eeveryone is saying good things about West Side Story so give that a go too

At this time, I'm using it to check out Family Matters and will check out Fresh Prince. Old shows I know, but I haven't checked them in awhile.

For animations, definitely check out Looney Tunes Cartoons; the animation is just commendable. And Jellystone is surprisingly funny.

For adult animations, I'm barely giving Close Enough a try.

if your into weird Raised by wolves.

Since your into Peacemaker Doom Patrol is great, titans is watchable.

plus the back catalog, The Wire, Sharp Objects, anything from the McBride crew (Eastbound And Down, Vice Principals)

plus as always though they have a lesser amount of movies than other services due to the HBO part they tend to have a better selection of newer stuff than Netflix or Hulu.
