New Content | Overview Trailer
Snipperclips Plus adds 40 new levels in two new worlds when Cosmic Comics takes Snip and Clip to a comic book land. This brings the total to about 100 levels full of fuel for eternal grudges and violent arguments*. Additionally, all the stages from the original version can be replayed in new ways by starting you out with numerous random shapes, requiring new creative solutions. It also comes with three new Blitz games.

You can now also go into stamp mode to make a big mess and then share a picture of that on your socials.

*Please do not actually be violent, thanks.

Skipped it at launch, but now seems like the right time to pick this up! Thanks for the OT.

This is really one of the best new IPs Nintendo bought up for the Switch.
Really glad to see this DLC. Gotta wait on it a bit, but I'll buy this for sure since the base game was a bit on the short side for my tastes.

Great non-gamer-spouse co-op game, will definitely be grabbing the DLC that adds the Plus content to the original.

I'm going on a mini-vacay with my fiancé and two other couples this weekend and I'm stoked this just dropped. This should be a blast to play (especially after a couple of glasses of wine) in the hotel room.

Will pick up the physical copy with that sweet GCU. I already have the digital version though, but it'll be a backup just in case.

Yes! Loved playing Snipperclips with friends. I'll definitely be getting this!

Really curious what this developer will do next.

Oh damn, I forgot this was coming out today. The original release was one of the launch highlights for me, played a ton of this game with my wife.

Can't wait to get back into it with the new stages!

I highly recommend sitting down with family who dont play games and giving this a go. Its amazing. The things you end up yelling loudly at each other left my family in tears.

Got the physical copy waiting for me when I got home. Happy that it now supports the pro controller.

Double dipping for the physical edition!

This will be a blast to do with my GF, we choked halfway through during Switch's launch. This time I want to do it entirely!

Had a lot of fun playing this with the gf, though it did almost cause a couple of arguments. Will definitely pick up the new levels.

My one regret is that I'm not going to double dip for a physical edition. I will, however, be buying the add on DLC the instant I get home.

Thanks for the OT.

For everyone that played the first one, how long is the game? I know now there are 100 levels, so before there were 60, what I mean is how many hours did you spend with the game? HLTB says 3.5 hs average.

I put this on the back burner at launch due to its reported brevity and my limited access to a co-op partner, both signs that I wouldn't get much time out of the purchase. The demo indicated to me that there was no point in running it single-player, too: the game just isn't built that way. But the Plus version has me interested despite the combined price tag, and now it's a question of going digital (for spontaneous pull-out-and-play) or physical (inconvenient, but for the long-long-term access and preservation).

What's the price for the Plus DLC in South Africa?

Your save file wouldn't be compatible with the retail version anyway.

Okay, I need to ask since apparently nobody else has ever mentioned it since the original release. I think the game is awesome and I have already bought the DLC, but what the heck is up with the framerate? It has been that way since day one, but I was hoping they would smooth it out with the announcement of the new DLC and patches. Unfortunately, there were no changes.

I know, it seems picky to complain about this in such a "casual" type of game, but as someone who is very sensitive to framerate fluctuations, it really bothers me every time I play it.

Hum... Makes me wonder, I never did try it in portable mode... Gotta check if that changes anything.

Either way, wonderful game that I recommend to everyone, but I really fail to understand why it couldn't be more fluid, since it doesn't exactly seem push the Switch's graphics to the limit.

Physical copy received, it's beautiful to see it there on the shelf next to the other Nintendo games.

Sweet, bought the original digital game from Japan because it was cheaper but was able to buy the DLC from the Canadian eShop, which is is good because Amazon Japan no longer sells the yen eShop codes.

Got my expansion using the 5 dollar vouchers from the Gamestop pricing errors lol.

Will get a friend over for the weekend on this.

Purchased the DLC earlier, can't wait to try it soon when friends come over again! Might even get it down the line on cartridge, I absolutely love this game!

Hmm, so I downloaded this and there seems to be a bunch of new content not mentioned in the OP or previous overviews.

The Stamp mode can actually be played up to 4 players, and 3 new modes add double the content to the competitive Blitz mode. It seems with the free update to the game you unlock "Hard" stages in Party mode by completing each 2-player world, and with the new DLC worlds that means there's added stages for that mode as well.

sounds like those hard versions of party mode are included in their 40 new levels bullet point, though? I don't have the game, so I don't know for sure.

Thanks for bringing it up, it reminded me I forgot to add the stamp mode screenshot.

Hmm, I guess it would be 15 levels * 2 for the two new worlds, and then 15 for these new hard Party levels. So I guess so, just wasn't clear Party mode is included because the game focuses on the 2-player mode for most advertising.

Have they made it so we can use a pro controller and joy cons or do you still have to use the joycons sperated?
