According to the user u/the_andshrew on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors an entry for the Shadowrun trilogy has been made on the PlayStation Network backend.

He also gave TitleId and ConceptId of this published entry on the PlayStation Network backend, CUSA28605_00, CUSA28614_00, and 10002084

I always thought Microsoft owned the Shadowrun IP but I see I am completely wrong in that.

I always wondered why they didn't do this sooner. Even though I'm a shadowrun 2007 first these games are pretty good in their own right.

The dragon one was meh but the first one was really good cyberpunk.

Videogame rights for the FASA games are owned by Microsoft and you can see the "Battletech / Shadowrun is a trademark of Microsoft" on the store page entries for these games on Steam and elsewhere. These were licenced to Harebrained Schemes after Microsoft decided it didn't care to do anything with the IP after SR 2007 was a failure, and then HBS in turn was acquired by Paradox Interactive.

As to whether the IP is more broadly, the answer is definitely no for Battletech and "lol I dunno" for Shadowrun.

Grubb didn't specify a developer tho yeah? I just heard that Xbox wants Shadowrun back
Yeah, the Arcane rumour is from this article, where the game director at Arcane Lyon tweeted which games franchises he'd like to work on, based on questions from fans. He listed four, among them Shadowrun. Not exactly confirming that they are working on something.

This was already known to be coming to Switch. The other console ports are news but not terribly surprising given the Switch port

I'm pretty sure this was already announced for Switch. Makes sense it'll come to other systems as well.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Returns, partly because it was clearly a mobile game lazily ported to PC (before patches), but Dragonfall and Hong Kong are great.

Dragonfall and Hong Kong are super great. Would love to have low budget "More of the same" games in the Returns series made by Harebrained, even with the exactly same structure. Imagine a new Shadowrun Returns every 3 years, in the exactly same structure, doubt it wouldn't sell well for the budget and time needed.

It should be a perfect fit for the Switch, loved both Dragonfall and Hong-Kong.

This is great news.

I friggen' loved Shadowrun Returns, but never played the follow-up expansions/games (whatever they are) even though I've bought them on Steam during sales.

Maybe I'll finally get around to playing them. Also good it's more available to more people (if this is true).
