So...wait. The executive ranks get a massive pay boost before the implosion? Am I understanding this right?
Have you not paid attention to any bankruptcy ever?So...wait. The executive ranks get a massive pay boost before the implosion? Am I understanding this right?
no why would they be want to be bought out by a bigger company?Sony needs to buy them. I associate their games with Sony consoles anyway.
Anyone who buys them will also inherit the debts, it's not that simple
Sure, of course.
Sony's the main reason they're in this state thanks to Disgaea mobile.Sony needs to buy them. I associate their games with Sony consoles anyway.
only in the westWait what happened? I thought they were doing well with their games selling especially after the Switch came out.
Their games have just sold worse and worse in Japan over the course of the generation.Wait what happened? I thought they were doing well with their games selling especially after the Switch came out.
only if you want the games to never sell in japan.
Is this what Phil meant when he said he wanted to acquire a Japanese studio?
Isn't it better than going bankrupt? What other option do they have?no why would they be want to be bought out by a bigger company?
Forward Works screwed them over with the mobile game. None of their games were selling hot lately, but that mobile game speed it up to lightspeed levels.Wait what happened? I thought they were doing well with their games selling especially after the Switch came out.
NISA's doing great, in large part thanks to Switch, but NIS Japan's another story. They've always operated on pretty razor thin margins and the Disgaea RPG mobile game megabombing might have been bad enough to do them in.Wait what happened? I thought they were doing well with their games selling especially after the Switch came out.
If they're going to get bought up I think Gungho or Kadokawa would make more sense. Both already work with NISA and it'd greatly bolster their western presence.Nintendo is such a perfect fit IMO for NISJ or at least their creative team. Nintendo seemingly has been perfectly happy working with them when Sony basically dropped all support despite how loyal NIS as a whole were before.
I know they're an entire publisher, but as I always say, Nintendo needs to start opening their war chest and get some more exclusive support.
Satirical reference to past stories/ articles. Don't worry about it.
probably someone who isn't western basedIsn't it better than going bankrupt? What other option do they have?
considering that xbox brand is like in a coma in japan, yesAs much as I'd hate to see Microsoft purchase them if they will prevent them from releasing games on Steam, isn't this the perfect company for them to purchase?
ForwardWorks happened.Wait what happened? I thought they were doing well with their games selling especially after the Switch came out.
