Single life trump would be pretty wild. Would he just embrace it and have a stream of pornstars and playmates coming through the doors? Clean up after he's bounced would be intense.

Read your own fucking article, because right above the quote it specifies:

I'm sorry, but I hate seeing this bullshit repeated. Trump admitted to walking in on adult contestants, not underage contestants. Which is bad enough that when I see this fake news "he walked in on children!" nonsense I just get furious. There is no goddamn reason to misquote him on this.

Donald Trump has enough real faults, and I hate seeing his "fake news" claims validated by stuff like that.
I dunno, apparently the whole quote isn't on YouTube anymore. I guess you're right. He only admitted to walking in on women around the ages of 18-20, while there are allegations he walked in on teenagers too.

Other than proving (AGAIN!) that the Imbecile-in-Chief is a liar, it means that the possibility exists that the money illegally came from the Imbecile's campaign funds. Note that I said "possibility" - if the money came from the Imbecile's personal funds, then there's no criminal matter.

So let me get this straight...

Weeks before the election Trump gets accused by 16 women of sexual harassment/assault/rape. Somehow he doesn't feel the need to pay off these women to "save his marriage"? Instead he denied all the allegations, said they were false allegations, and threaten to sue each one of them after the election. But with Stormy, he decided to pay to keep her false allegations secret to protect his marriage. All the supposed false allegations of sexual assault wasn't worth protecting from his wife but the false allegations of an affair from 10 years earlier was worth protecting from his wife. Yeah the logic isn't adding up.

Well, supposedly Stormy has physical evidence (dvd?) that it happened. Something I'm sure the sexual assault accusers didn't.

Also, many of the 16+ accusers were paid off...via court settlements.

This women abruptly went silent literally days before the election. This has a huge red flag that there was a hush money to silence her. Her accusation is actually credible because the other guy, Jeffrey Epstein, involved in the rape ended up being a registered sex offender after soliciting underage prostitutes. I believe this is the real reason why Trump is freaking out about Cohen getting raided because if it gets out that Trump paid hush money to conceal rape allegations of a 13 year-old girl, then he's finished. Trump may be teflon but even he can't survive being an accused pedophile rapist.

If true, yea there is no out for Trump cause the FBI has that info now. If true, not sure why Rudy/Trump are even bothering to spin the Stormy stuff at this point.

Rudy all but confirmed by saying, "That and a few other situations that might have been considered campaign expenses". There are definitely other hush money payoffs. It could be the Playmate model McDougal, but I think the National Enquirer probably ate the pay-off money to curry favor with Trump, so I doubt Cohen would be repaid for that. I really think this Jane Doe might be lurking underneath all the smokescreen and it would explain the utter panic right now.

Well the positives of many other hush payments is that they can argue Stormy was just another in a long history of this...so it has nothing to do with the campaign.

At this point, no one cares Trump had sex with all these women (or even forced abortions). So might as well own up to it all (as Rudy is doing for him) to deflect from other criminal charges.

Actually if they can prove that silencing Stormy was beneficial for the campaign, then he would have to report the 130k as a campaign contribution even if they were from his personal funds, which he did not .

What could possibly motivate Giuliani to say all of this?

This is truly baffling in every sense of the word.

It just doesn't make sense for Big G to go out and say this. I refuse to accept that he's that incompetent.

It's a decent strategy (and I say "decent" cause it's really the only one they have left at this point, so might as well go all in)

Everyone knows trump lies, so Giuliani's comments doesn't threaten that about trump lol

Everyone knows trump has extramarital affairs outside of marriage, so Giuliani's comments doesn't threaten that either.

What this does is make Cohen look like a liar, and puts out there that Trump gives Cohen money every month to take care of these private matters Trump doesn't want public. Trump gives Cohen a monthly retainer to take care of these things and leave Trump out of the specifics.

The strategy is, to assert the Stormy payment didn't come directly from campaign funds, that indeed it was personal Cohen funds, and Trump eventually paid it back through retainer payments.

Also, to explain that this is a general setup for all types of things that even happened before the the campaign, the Stormy payment cannot be considered campaign related since there is precedent of this kind of thing happening many times before.

These Giuliani comments certainly aren't helpful for Stormy's civil case against Cohen (that's why Avenatti is so giddy)...but it will help Trump down the road. That's all Guiliani/trump want to donwith all this.

It may end up being a poot strategy when all is said and done, but it's certainly not a stupid strategy to attempt right now considering the FBI raid on Cohen and the special counsel stuff going on.

How do you form a legal or PR strategy when all of your lawyers have different versions of the "truth", and you keep losing the guys who know too much?

Well yea, the PR strategy goes through whirlwinds of changes that's for sure lol

But again, everyone accepts Trump as a liar so it's not necessarily disadvantageous.

Guiliani is a Mueller plant. He has been caught up in some shady shit regarding email leaks and now is working for Mueller to not get indicted as harshly.

lol I have to believe Mueller has a lot of dirt on Giuliani at this point (Comey as well was investigating him before he got fired)...so a Guliani flip could very well be a possibility (although I'm betting Giuliani is more of a "big fish")

The DOJ couldn't prove that John Edwards using actual donations to silence his extra marital affair during the campaign was a violation...so I really doubt they would even begin to try and take this route with Trump.

The only hope is that the FBI can actually find evidence that Cohen funneled campaign money to Stormy and that trump knew about it at the time.

Are the monthly retainers the only money Trump pays to Cohen? Because it's a really dumb idea to tie an employee's pay to the money he doesn't give to your random mistresses. That's probably why Cohen colludes with the other attorney over the settlements, in yet another crime Trump has implicated himself.

That's not what legal analysts are saying. Rudy caused big problems legally.

Yea as I mentioned earlier in the thread, this line of reasoning certainly brings the Broidy client thing into a different focus.

Cohen couldn't possibly cover with his own funds the $1.6 million that it took to cover up that affair and forced abortion...would take 4 years for trump retainers to pay that back lol...so in comes a Trump doner to pay that money and make it seem like he was covering his own affair.

In all these cases, it's Cohen taking steps to distance Trump from the payments and the details of it.

Rudy caused a lot of conversations about possibilities, yes.

Comey and his interviews/memos have legal analysts saying it's causing himself big legal problems too...I doubt it will end up being so, tbh. Despite it being cable news/twitter fodder.

Trumps big legal problems will be a BUNCH of things...I doubt the money paid to Stormy will be a big piece of that. So all of Rudy's comments about it won't end up being bad for trump (unless Rudy was lying and the FBI can prove the money paid to Stormy was funneled from campaign funds)

If anything, Rudy's comments cause a bunch of problems for Cohen in his civil court case with Stormy.

Trump/Cohen legal problems will come from the FBI investigation...nothing concerning what Rudy said the past couple of days.

Trump has always privileged ass-licking over expertise. It is his way to make sure his perfect view of himself isn't compromised by nasty facts. It is amusing that even now, with the legal pressure increasing, he still doesn't see a need to change his methods.

Sorry I didnt follow news related to this matter, so I have a question, is this confirmed that Trump and Stormy had an affair and the only unclear thing is where the hush money came from? Or the former is not yet established as a fact?

Practically confirmed. Trump hasn't said it happened, but according to Stormys attorney, they have proof of said affair.

Are they seriously playing the "Cohen did this on his own out of loyalty to Trump" card? He fell on his sword for his master, made the payment out of his own pocket then felt he was owed something back?

Rudy is not done yet.

It's so good that he keeps pushing and pushing and with the one previous thing on the previous page, Flood had no idea about the payment. I wonder if he may back out then. Everything is falling down on them and it's glorious :).

Also, in the article, I had no idea that DT hired a lawyer named Chuck Harder... had a bit of a giggle.

The NBC screw-up was one of the few media "victories" for Team Trump and here we go, it won't last a week because they talk so much of their own nonsense. Trump loves snatching defeat from victory. These guys act like a bunch of New York Post readers complaining on the morning LIRR ride into Penn, honestly.

As anyone with a scintilla of sense knows, just because Trump fails to admit to an act or, heck, outright denies an act, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant said Donald Trump walked into the dressing room while contestants — some as young as 15 — were changing.

"I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, 'Oh my god, there's a man in here,'" said Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA.

Trump, she recalled, said something like, "Don't worry, ladies, I've seen it all before."

This piece of orange grime intentionally walked into a room where it would be overwhelmingly expected that minors would be changing/undressing.
