This wouldn't feel as bad if they would just release Prime Trilogy on Switch...if it even exists.
I'm starting to think that most on this board didn't really understand what 'started development over from scratch' meant. :p

We didn't think it would take 6 months from that announcement to hire a fucking art director. But then again, most of us don't know anything about game development.
Because working on an engine and gameplay mechanics are completely impossible when working with an already established franchise!
May? It would be a title reveal at most and they won't repeat that, I hope.
Games take time, news at 10. You guys think they first start by deciding the art style when they're starting to create a game ? Over the game design ?

Didn't they only just recently move the project to Retro Studios a little while back, like within the last year? I think from that it would be resnable to assume they are in the very early stages of development. My completely faceless and uneducated guess is that they were working on prototypes and the like for how the game would play and now that they have a clearer image of what they want the prodject to play like they can start worrying about the visual aspect.
Man, y'know you just edited your post a couple minutes ago. It's very possible they didn't see that update/didn't refresh the page. Hence why what you edited in isn't in the quote just like my post.
Could be possible they're already hired someone and just never took the listing down. Companies do that all the time (since most HR departments suckkkkkkk)
I thought this was common knowledge. I wonder why they just dont promote someone from within. They have several artists there that worked on the Prime games.
They have just retweeted the listing. If that was the case, they would not have done it
