It's all thanks to the rain.
Ironically the rain is the only thing on the disc. The poor souls who will play through RE4 with the ugly rain.
Wouldn't want to be in their place.
all the stuff in that container makes me think a home depot is selling it early
I just found out home depot sells mattresses so maybe?
I can see this becoming a piece of history ten years later or more, finding on ebay very expensive copies of RE4(heavy rain edition). The poor souls who will play through RE4 with the ugly rain.

Their right hand comes off
I mean, all discs will have that, even the ones you will buy in 2030. Unless you patch the game, that rain will be there.I can see this becoming a piece of history ten years later or more, finding on ebay very expensive copies of RE4(heavy rain edition).
You just said the quiet part out loudI mean, all discs will have that, even the ones you will buy in 2030. Unless you patch the game, that rain will be there.

Occasionally. Nintendo is known to do it.Can we talk about this for a second? I've always wondered if retail discs ever get updated to reflect newer patches over time, especially if it's a game plagued by major glitches at release. Surely some games with game breaking glitches have done this, but I'm assuming it's not commonplace.
It's very rare, unless there's some kind of "GOTY" version or whatever it's usually the same disc as the original release. Can we talk about this for a second? Activision's done it a handful of times. Can we talk about this for a second? does leon bang
Wouldn' that be rare tho? To find a copy that was never updated? I dunno for how long companies reprint physical copies for distribution.I mean, all discs will have that, even the ones you will buy in 2030. Unless you patch the game, that rain will be there.
Common during sixth genCan we talk about this for a second? Like I said before, usually the disc is the same as the original release 99% of the time, unless very specific examples or stuff like "GOTY" editions that might come out later.Wouldn' that be rare tho? Do you know how patches work on physical discs? I've been digital-only for a long time so i don't remember.
Sorry if these are stupid questions.
Multiple pubs do that. It's for instance say next to impossible to find a version of the witcher 3 or FFXV without the various patches that they received. You'd have to find an unopened copy of the first round of discs. It makes the idea of being annoyed by post release patches sort of ridiculous cause unless you're for some reason playing on a console or PC without internet you're gonna be subject to at least one patch on day one. Post release support is lowkey one of the best things to happen to the medium if only because in comparison to the PS2/GC/XB era games would release with a host of bugs that would never get fixed. And despite "hi i'm a gamer and my personality is ANGRY" Youtubers stating the opposite, no post launch support does not incentivize game studios to release games unfinished with the idea that say, tons of game breaking glitches will be fixed later. Can we talk about this for a second? Patches for physical discs work the same way they do for digital. You are told "the game is updating" when loading up the game while connected to the internet.Wouldn' that be rare tho? To find a copy that was never updated? I dunno for how long companies reprint physical copies for distribution.
