This thread was intended to further highlight that Natalie failed miserably in handling that situation and I need to remind everyone of that because she's been given ridiculous amounts of passes.

Even then biological differences can be changed even further . Like you don't need a penis to be a man and hormones do most of the work. There's a ton of nuance to it and these people just see the black and white of it.

My first thought about all of this was that Buck is older and has been a pioneer in the sex and queer communities for a long, long time. His story is remarkable and he has helped many people, both directly and indirectly.

But if I learned one thing from Gloria Steinem it's that people are supposed to evolve and change. Nobody's views should ever be static. And the language he's using in the tweets in the OP are actively violent and harmful.

I get that. Even if she did, which I'm not going to even assume she follow through on, it obviously failed. That said, my point is sometimes if feels like she has somehow become the face of their hate. It feels like every time Bush gets in the news for doing something heinous Obama becomes the main subject of the thread because he partially defended his character in one of his books. One of my oldest friends, who I've watched struggle with their identity, gender and transition was one of the twitters she featured in that video. Direct quote about them?

Every argument I've seen from TERFs and adjacent seems to be unable to understand that hormones and genetics elsewhere in the body can develop independently of how the part of the brain that constructs identity develops.
