Why too salty> was it the sauce? I have always found the strips to be pretty juicy.
Something between the dry rub and the vinegar sauce makes the whole thing super gritty, as if there were sand in the sauce. The mouth feel is just awful, and it's pretty bland on top of that.
This is why I haven't been there for like fifteen years. It's like eating jerky.
