I've been using this clock/radio since I was a kid in the early 90s. Never say a reason to upgrade and still don't.

Used to use my iPod Classic until I got hooked on Spotify. I'd astound people who'd notice me carrying it around. Ultimately stopped using it because the music quality through my phone was so much better.

My second monitor is a Dell E207WFP 20.1 monitor.

Got it 9 years ago but it originally came out 12 years ago.

My TV is a 2006 model, so probably that. I haven't felt ready to upgrade, partially because 4K is somewhat new and also because I'm overwhelmed with the whole "real HDR" and "fake or untrue HDR" and all of the details one needs to worry about. Plus my budget is limited at around $1200 CAD.

Probably my shitty, creaky car. Inside, one of these I used to swap out every six months or so at Radioshack...and there ain't no more Radioshacks left in my area. Only one I've found with decent sound.

A 20-30 year old CD collection I got from my uncle. I only use them in the car though.

I stole probably one of the first USB optical mice from a computer from my old High School when I was in 9th grade. About 15 years ago if not more.

I used it earlier to hook up to my Chromebook

FIRE!
What? It's a tech according to Sid Meier.
Seriously though I still use my HP-12c often and that thing is ancient.

The oldest thing I own with a printed circuit board that gets regularly used is an IBM Model M from the early 90's.

Considering it gets pounded on constantly it's pretty impressive.

My Tv is pushing 12 years I think. Still very much up to snuff tho, since I chose wisely. 40" is a bit small by today's standard, but big enough that I don't mind, since it's really close. Has 1080p and <10ms latency without game mode or anything, so I don't see any reason to upgrade soon. Once I upgrade to 4k and it has become mainstream, I'll swap the TV out obviously.

When I'm at my computer and want to listen to the radio, I use my old sony walkman that I got sometime in the early 90's.

I also daily drive a 32 year old car, but I don't know if that really counts as technology.

I have a really pretty night desk lamp that must be from the 60s. Beside that my SNES and I got an old mechanical scale from the 70ies the other day to weight my cat (she needs a diet).

Got to be my trusty SNES.
Still use it regularly ever since I got it back in 1994. It's also still hooked to my CRT that must be around 20 years old or so.

YOO MY DAD HAS THAT EXACT RADIO
lol everyone had that damn clock radio. There's not a single being on this planet that didn't!

The oldest piece of tech I have is my JVC stereo from 1999.

I would include the 89 Honda Accord i drive, but that's not mine; I'm just perpetually borrowing it from my parents until I can buy another car for myself after mine was totaled by a drunk.

13" Panasonic VHS combo crt TV we have in the kitchen. We watch Roku on it.
Also still use a 07 era Dell Inspiron 531 which I recently "upgraded" to an 275 gb SSD, 6gb ram, 1gb videocard, AMD X2 dual core 6000+, Windows 7 Lol

Everyone's answer should technically be the toilet. The current design was invented in 1775, when someone figured out the S bend to keep out waste/sewer gases.

I don't know if it counts as tech but I still use a Leica M6. 30 years old and it still performs flawlessly.

The next oldest thing I regularly use is a Thinkpad T60.

Are we going by design or production age? There seems to be a mix of answer types here.

I think its sort of conflated. someone posting a walkman from the 80s, it would have been assumed the model was designed a few years prior to release at most.

But stuff like design of everyday technology/conveniences could date hundreds or thousands of years.

My Logitech X230s are still going strong:

Not sure exactly when they were first released, but I've found articles going back as far as 2004.

In 1996 my aunt died of a brain tumour.

Myself, my sister and my brother were lined up and given our "inheritance". My brother got a huge stereo system with a detachable personal tape player. My sister got a pair of awesome designer leather chairs.

And I got a shitty little alarm clock. I was young, I was pissed. But you know what? The stereo broke and the chairs got holes in them, but that god damn alarm clock still wakes me up for work every single morning.

My personal tech would either be my 13" Macbook Pro from late-2010, or my iPod Touch from like, 2009. The former is straight up my computer, and the latter I use for working out. Phone stays in my locker.

Gaming-wise? I still regularly play stuff on my Gamecube and N64

My 2008 PS3 fat still gets used every single day as a Netflix machine in my house.

My Sennheiser HD600 headphones are from the late 90s and still sound incredible.

I'm a classical guitarist and teacher by trade so I guess that's the oldest piece of technology I use. Hasn't changed appreciably in 200 years or more.
