Steep ain't happening imo. Far Cry 5, Watch Dogs 2 or Assassin's Creed Origins would be a far more sensible decision at this point.

Looking forward to BattleChasers, need to play more of Xenoblade Wii to see if Xenoblade 2 would be for me.

In the case of the retail only titles, I wonder why a publisher would opt for that? I can understand digital only (less cost), but the other way round?

I just saw the Switch version of Lego Marvel available in a Dutch store. Guess someone broke the streetdate.

I really want Stern Pinball Arcade, but I can't find anything about it online so far so I cancelled my preorder just in case it's a really bad port.
So strange that there doesn't seem to be any footage out there and it launches in 5 days. :-/

Constructor Plus is 2018, not TBA. Their FB post suggests Q1.

They had just reconfirmed Steep a month ago or so.

It's really hard to compare those two. This is not playing Uncharted to see if you'd like Uncharted 2.

Yeah, they've been incredibly quiet about it. There's a Switch trailer over at Gamestop, and the footage seems... decent? No mention of HD Rumble support of anything, probably just a reeeeaaally quick port.

There are already released Switch games for which we don't have any footage either. A lot of these titles seem to fly under the radar.

For the Markt + Technik games: those are ports of games which are sold for less than 10 Euros on other platforms. At retail they are sold for 30 Euros now. I'd assume they want to get rid of their retail copies first.

They also suggested a launch release ;)

Ah thanks. I'm gonna hold off a little till I get some impressions from it.
Right now I'm only looking forward to the Ghostbusters table.
I'm hoping it'll turn out good as I love portable pinball games.
But knowing Farsight, it might turn out good or it might be really buggy. It's a bit of a crapshoot...

To add to the list:

Hollow Knight (was due late 2017, now early 2018: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/11/hollow_knight_has_been_pushed_back_to_early_2018)

Terraria (was due 2017 but now pushed back to some time in 2018 due to the devs resrtucturing how the ports are handled: https://forums.terraria.org/index.p...ndo-switch-in-2017.55274/page-11#post-1493851 )
this thread is about retail games which neither of these are (Terraria will probably be one eventually but it's not confirmed/announced)

Ah right, that makes sense. I wonder if that's a way round "the digital version has to be priced the same as retail" if they eventually put it on the eShop after selling through their retail stock? Probably not!

Wish this thread had been created a day earlier lol. Would've helped with the video I made. I missed some games from this list. Oh well, can't have them all. 140 is enough.

Nintendo was initially a bit restrictive in terms of ports and handing out dev kits, finding a retail publisher was a solution to get around that. I know of another studio which wasn't allowed to release their game on Switch and thus went through a retail publisher to have it on the platform (both digitally and at retail). The devs behind the titles here may just not have received approval from Nintendo, especially as they didn't receive great reviews or sales on Wii U.

The price can be different at retail and eShop, that's mainly something that publishers determine themselves. They often opt to take the same price to appease retailers and sell through their retail lot.

For all the worry that Nintendo would slow down with releases, the next four months will give anybody's funds a battering if they're even halfway interested on playing on the Switch. Damn! Especially May, my God!
