Guacamelee! 2 is one of my favourite indie games of this year. If you liked the original, you will definitely enjoy the sequel!

I have already played it to completion on the PlayStation 4, but I may feel compelled to double-dip somewhere down the line.

I am torn between choosing which console to play Wonder Boy on...

I got the Wonder Boy 3 remake on the PlayStation 4, but bought it on the Switch when it was half price last Christmas. I prefer the d-pad on the DualShock 4, and the visuals are a lot more cleaner/detailed on the PlayStation 4 too however, the portability nature is just as great.

p.s. As usual, you have done a superb job of things in these threads throughout the year tolkir, and long may it continue!

everything was cheaper on XBLA 10 years ago. If your game was more than $10, people freaked out. The market is different now.

I know they're waiting to release the console ports until the last act is done, so I'd definitely guess it's more of a regular-development hold-up than a porting one.

Still hoping for this year but it's getting real close...... I can see them pulling a surprise release, and they haven't done anything to explicitly suggest it's delayed. They set up a hotline semi-recently to "check on the development status" that just says something like "it's currently in development" lol...... but that makes me think that would've been the time to say it's no longer a 2018 thing if that's the case.

I think that's an okay price. $80 would be better, but I'm down regardless.

Hmm lots of good stuff but I already have Smash pre loaded and I really liked the Fitness boxing demo so I will pre load that one as well just to add to my fitness routine. The motion controls are great and the game really gives you a good work out.

I'm certain to pick up Guacamelee 2 at some point, so the pre-order discount is tempting, but my schedule is so packed that I don't know if I'll actually get to it before it eventually receives a steeper discount. Loved the original, but I had misgivings about its world design that were addressed a hundred times over by its cousin Hollow Knight, so I'll be heading into the sequel expecting more from the platforming and combat than from any Metroid-alike structure, something that mainly stood out about the first Guacamelee despite its faults because back then it was the only game in town.

I held off on Kingdom: New Lands despite a fair degree of interest because I knew Two Crowns was shortly on the way, so when it releases I'll be interested in impressions of whether it's advisable to skip straight to the new game.

Curious to see if Anthill by Image & Form is going to be released this month.
