Japanese love their abbreviations/contractions. It's easy since the characters represent syllables rather than phonemes or using the first kanji of each word, so you get plenty of contractions that become the default in everyday communication i.e., 'konbini' (コンビニ) for convenience store (コンビニエンスストア) or 'famichiki' (ファミチキ) for family mart fried chicken (ファミリーマートフライドチキン).

Most people in the comments talking about "the left" complaining but I've yet too see a single person complaining, instead is a sea of articles and quotes of guys saying "the family won!"

And we, foreigners in Japan, hate it because they keep cutting words in english that have actual meaning to us :(

We need to always try to keep track of wtf they mean, like SUTO 6 because Street Fighter 6 or RASU became The Last of Us.

I mean, if anything, my spicy take would be that the dad and daughter ate but not the mom is indicative of the unbalanced parental responsibilities. It's realistic as too often, mothers sacrifice themselves for their child instead of fathers. Maybe that's why conservatives like this ad because it promotes misogynistic "traditional family value"?

I don't really think that but was just playing devil's advocate.

The American far right are weirdly obsessed with McDonalds somehow being aspirational and linked to the nuclear family because it's the closest thing they have to culture.

As far as songs go, the Summer one is better than most Miku songs IMO.

Although the second one I've always loved for it's chaotic energy.

Still love STAY HOT though.
