Boims and Mariner in all their glory 🔥

Supposedly in episode 7 of SNW, named Those Old Scientist, directed by Jonathan Frakes.

So looking forward to this. SNW will be the show that has crossed over with the most new trek shows, right? SNW has crossed over with Lower Decks and basically started with Discovery.

Is this the Lower Deck characters in the show's timeline? Tawny is 40 I think, and I know Mariner's schtick is she's an older ensign, but is she late 30s/40s in the show?

Jack Quaid has to be in his 30s too and we just had people complaining about an obvious 30 year old playing a 20-something in Picard.

I'm just wondering how ... for lack of a better term, animated, they'll play their characters.

Interesting.

I don't follow Star Trek, my knowledge is literally The Kelvin Trilogy and Lower Decks.
You really need to watch the Next Gen era shows and every even-numbered movie up to (but not including) Nemesis.

I guarantee you that after that, the Beastie Boys superweapon at the end of Beyond will seem even more ridiculous to you than it already does.

May we get another Boimler scream, but now in live action.

It wasn't ridiculous at all, it was perfect.

That bike scene still pisses off my old school Trekkie father-in-law. He won't watch any of the new shit, even the one starring his beloved Picard, since Star Trek soured on him after that. I even bought him a streaming sub.
