DJ Shadow's Entroducing is my favorite album of all-time and it was released in the 90s, so

Wild pick, might as well be the Red Hot Chili Peppers or the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

I'm a fan, but every other album on your poll is better(except idk what 'Goo' is)

Tragic Kingdom is not really a deep cuts album

EDIT: incidentally (era boomer reveal) this is the second album i ever bought with 'my money' (i.e. allowance). First was Dookie.

Illmatic? The Chronic? Punk in Drublic?

(okay no one will actually say the last one but it's good!)

No way in hell. All these are way better:

In Utero - Nirvana
Nevermind - Nirvana
The Blue Album - Weezer
All Eyez on Me - 2pac
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine
Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins
Ready to Die - Biggie Smalls

Just some things that come to mind, just rattling shit off. Not a comprehensive list!

In Utero (Nirvana)
Illmatic (Nas)
Bee Thousand (Guided by Voices)
Loveless (My Bloody Valentine)
Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (Pavement)
The Chronic (Dr. Dre)
Pod (The Breeders)
The Lonesome Crowded West (Modest Mouse)
Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers) (Wu-Tang Clan)

Random sentimental fave that wouldn't make anyone else's "best" list: Vee-Vee by the Archers of Loaf

I'd rather say "Kid A" than "OK Computer," but it just missed the cut (2000)

IDK, great decade, impossible to pic a record. I don't remember Tragic Kingdom well enough to shit-talk it, but it just isn't up there for me

Houston
no way.
but its really good.

i dont know how you even quantify that though, there were SO MANY great albums released in the 90s. The Black Album didn't even make the poll. Smash isn't up there. Downward spiral, The Chronic, Rust in Peace, Seasons in the Abyss, i could go on and on.

This is also something ive thought of, there's a lot of "one hit wonders" but with albums, like a band had an amazing album and literally nothing they put out after that even came close to the commercial or critical success.

I won't state "best" because it's a bullshit statement to make. But my favourite...

Nirvana - Nevermind.

Runners up:
Mazzy Star - So Tonight That I Might See
Rage Against the Machine
