Next BFi between April '21 & March '22. I fully expect next gen support for BFV.

Yes, that is EA Motive's game, the game they took over from Visceral.
Would be great, maybe.. they should try an expansion, maybe a secret weapons type take (Love the new maps, vehicles, weapons, so in the vein of the new stuff, and not the Vanilla maps)

Am I going crazy or wasn't that Motive Star Wars game also canned? EDIT: wasn't going crazy.

Anyway I think we're more likely to see Fallen Order 2 before we see Battlefront 3 (obviously depending on how the first one sells).

That game was canceled. The unannounced Motive game is the New IP they've been working on since back when Jade Raymond was there.

As for Battlefront 3...they're not making a Battlefield until 2021, and Battlefront 1 and 2 sold 33m copies. Those are absurd numbers. They've got a Star Wars game planned...you think it's something other than that?

It wouldn't be the worst thing if Disney handed off the Star Wars license to another dev. Despited the sales of both Battlefronts, I would think Disney expected more output after 5 years w/ the license.
In an ideal world they wouldn't give exclusive rights to anyone. Let pubs and Devs pitch them like the old days, I know why they go exclusive but hope they don't.

I was referring to Battlefield BC3.
But considering this is EA/DICE, it doesn't surprise me if it got delayed for 2021.
Still, it should be a launch tittle for next gen.

I could see a Battlefront 3 launching alongside new consoles next year. Hopefully with the year off DICE will be able to flesh it out a lot, cut almost all of the monetization (they'd never get rid of all of it), and it'd go down well. But that's a big "hopefully".

I really liked aspects of the previous games (the visuals, the core gameplay) but the limited amount of content made it kinda boring.

I honestly don't have a high opinion on DICE after BF2 fiasco, they're just as culpable as EA and infact were the one's communicating with consumers and kept trying to sidestep the obvious. So, to me, what they do is of little importance as I'm not investing in their games.

Sorry for the side question here but: How is the PC community for BF4 these days?

I have BF5 but I just couldn't get that into it.
