Had no idea who she was before Kyuuji posted about her in a thread. She would make a great Zelda and this casting would be a victory for LGBT representation IMO

I don't think they would cast a trans woman because of general bigotry and trying to reach international markets.

Daniela Vega was in A Fantastic Woman and Zach Barack was in Spider-Man: Far From Home, both co-produced by Sony Pictures like this new Zelda movie, so who knows.

Title baited me and got me excited lol. This is some damn good casting, either here or Anya-Taylor Joy (Doubt it since the Mario movie)

Since Anya Taylor Joy is already the voice of Peach, I don't think there's another especially obvious choice for Zelda aside from Hunter Schafer. Maybe Florence Pugh, I guess? But Schafer seems to be a considerably better fit for the role.

Sadly I think these big corporations are more likely to cast trans actors in supporting roles than leads in blockbusters. I'd support her for the older age Zelda in her 20s.
