I counted 59 of any kind on my list, though that's probably missing a couple of recurring games from previous years. Of those I would classify about 25 or so as playing to completion, not counting some games where that concept doesn't really exist

Only 15 of the 53 games I finished in 2020 were released in 2020.

4-6 feels about right. I completed Hellpoint, Vigil: the Last Night, Horizon Zero Dawn (PC release) and Ghost Runner; oh, and Ori2.

I've also played at least two dozen demos for 2020 releases, though. And a few other games I've started but didn't get too far in. Considering how much time I've spent playing demos, this year was probably the one I've played the most "current" games in a while.

I've also spent the last month of 2020 playing custom made, 2020 content for a 2019 game, age of Empires II DE, which is my "GAAS", I guess.
