I'm trying to better utilize space and I've been thinking of storing my moderate size game collection under my bed, which has a high frame. So I figure I'll get some plastic storage bins, store the games in there and slide under the bed. Neatly put away, but also easily accessible. Anybody else utilize this method of storage?

If not, how do you store your collection. Feel free to post pics, as well! I'd love some ideas.

On a shelf for all to see. 31, married, 1 kid. Going to have to move everything once she gets taller. She already pulls the games down.

Full shelf if you're curious:

Clear plastic bins. It lets me group games by console together, makes them easy to move around and when I stop playing an older system I can move them to storage and know they will keep my stuff in good shape. You can store a surprising number of games in one of them.

For example, here is 1 of 2 of my bins that are just 3ds games.

PS2, PSP, DS, Vita and 3DS (which are not in the rotation) are in the coffee table. Literally in the coffee table, the top lifts up and tons of storage.

PS4, Switch, active Vita and 3DS titles are in the TV unit. Oh and a drawer for my PS1 games (they just fit perfectly in there)

I used to have shelves and all my games visible and beautiful. The wife disagrees on that, so we have tasteful furniture with tons of storage.

I have a book shelf. Running out of space on it though. Gonna need another one eventually.

That's what my shelf looks like today. I made a detailed album a few years ago. Mostly looks the same except minus a few dozen PS4 games, a few Xbone games, and some books.

Got around 300 games packed in there.

Shelves with discsox:

Stores the discs and all insert artwork safely. Ditch the plastic shell/jewel case, which can be replaced easily at any time in case I ever want to go back. The space savings are enormous.

Wouldn't be able to store my ps3/ps4/ps1/saturn collection neatly otherwise.

Some guy online has pics showing the space savings. Sleeved on the left, original now-empty cases on the right:

I use a row on a shelf and one of those plastic three drawer carts. The shelf is better, but I've got to use what I have for now. I'm not entirely certain which way would take up less room though

I use a book shelf. I usually trade all of my games and my console in when a new generation releases. I'm not a hoarder.

Plastic bins, basically stored away. I'd like to have one nice shelf with some games on it eventually to display, don't have the space at the moment.

This is how I store my games and consoles:

Conveniently no need for furniture and I get to enjoy cool looking cover art. The only downside is when I want to play a game which is at the bottom..

Not being serious ofc. This is a picture I took for a Nintendo photo contest some years ago, haha.
