Hotdogs: Boiled vs Grilled

I thought the pros recommended both; boil them first (e.g., beer bath), then finish off on a grill.
I will gladly turn the grill on just to make myself a dog or two for lunch in the summer. Grilled hot dogs are divine and almost impossible to screw up.

That's cause hotdog cart water has never been changed.
Honestly, I prefer them rolled back and forth over a hot cast iron skillet otherwise grilled, but I grew up eating boiled.
microwave is the correct answer for 1 hotdog cuz its easy as sin
but i'd never tie my rope around that white box of magnets
on a grill, in a pan or even on a george forman grill they're good. I feel like they lose flavor boiling them

That hotdog water is the reason I don't have to worry about COVID.
I much prefer them grilled, but I don't own a grill and would be too lazy to get one all set up just to make myself two hotdogs anyway, and I'm also too lazy to boil them, so I usually end up just microwaving them. It's not ideal by a long shot, but it's quick, and I usually have hotdogs when I want something quick.

Grilled is preferred but I only have positive feelings about boiled, too. Both are great but my preference definitely goes to grilled.
...but that's the way most of the best places make them.
Hot dogs, sausages, and reheated pizza. It really is a game changer instead of microwaved rubber.
But they have top notch boiling skills we could only dream of replicating.
Reheated pizza in the air fryer was a revelation for me, couldn't believe how it was just as good as new
