Either Kirby and the Forgotten Land or AI: The Somnium Files - Nirvana Initiative

Couldn't have chosen two games more distinct from each other in their tone

Should be Pillars of Eternity 2, which I'm 10 hours into. Enjoying it a lot, but I need to clear my head AND find time for it.

I'll be trying to wrap up GOW Ragnarok and Chained Echoes over the next couple of days. Crisis Core will be the first game I start in the new year.

FFXIV / Genshin since I do stuff daily in those games, although I mostly play FFXIV and just spend 10 minutes per day in genshin lately.

I'm also towards the end of Chained Echoes, best jrpg of 2022.

I'll be finishing my 100% Nier Replicant playthrough :) My first game in 2022 was finishing my og Nier playthrough.
After that, probably Gungrave and Persona 5.

The real answer is probably slay the spire while I'm at work. But despite running into a bug, (wtf. Why won't you call me, Raul) I'm on my way to getting 100% in GTAV for a second time. I will be focusing on getting roughly 20 unique stunt jumps, and all the knifing/under the bridge locations. It's possible I do it this "weekend." I haven't decided if I'll start from an old save to try to get these piddly missed achievements. They're going to bug me, but I probably won't be going back. I'll probably do those three things, get 70 gold medals, and uninstall the game.

I might honestly start Ragnarok myself.

But i'll probably dip into Fortnite to see the store update and play a few rounds first.

Infamous First Light on PS4 is likely unless I can Platinum it fairly quick during the day. God of War III Remastered after that.

I'm trying to play/complete more games I want to do in 2023. I'm likely to be doing Devil May Cry 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, and ICO at the start of the year too.

I just started Portal this morning for the first time so I suppose it will be that. Good game so far.

Kirby is definitely the all black one for sure

Anyways, for real, Kirby and the forgotten land was amazing. I 106%'d it and I loved every second of it. Such a fun and cute game. Enjoy :)

The last Kirby game I played (besides bits of Air Ride) was Kirby 64, and some of Squeak Squad of DS.

Persona 4 Golden

I'm aiming to complete a run of the actually-not-bad free roguelike mode in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, followed by the "final" quest mission of the game. I can't be bothered with the River Raid or medal challenge modes.

After that, I'm honestly not sure. Might pick up the GBA Castlevania where I left off, or start AI: The Somnium Files, or make a proper attempt to play Crusader Kings 3.

Yeah, I told a few of my friends and they had the same reaction. It REALLY made me want to see a new reinvented 3D Donkey Kong (I know DK64, but let's try something again :D) by Nintendo and see what they could do for the DK series

Well last night I finished Gears 3 coop with my sister which was fun, and hopefully the first thing I play next year is the Silent Hill Short Message! Otherwise I'm hovering over the "buy" button on Midnight Suns, which I'm curious about but I'm not that sold on a card game, and I heard the performance wasn't that great on PC

First game to play: Horizon Forbidden West
First game to beat: The Case of the Golden Idol
First new game to start: Chained Echoes

All among the very best releases of 2022!

With Monday off it's going to be a combination of Telling Lies, Syberia 1 and Digimon Survive.

Well, since my partner and I have a real busy and exciting night planned
lying on the couch together, watching films as I pat her head gently whilst we try to recover from the lurgy
might not have time for stuff tonight

BUT, I think I have finally got it working on the Steam Deck, So I reckon it's going to be more Darktide.

No way better to ring in a fresh new year than slaughtering a horde of chaos zombies and praying that the game doesn't crash behind it's many loading screens

It'll either be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Lil Gator Game or Chained Echoes on Switch, with a mixture of Blacktail, Grapple Dog, Pentiment and Norco later in the day on Series S.

At the in-laws so my PS5 will be feeling left out but starting the year off with something laid back is the plan and not chasing FOMO for new releases is the name of the game going forward through 2023. Probably won't last long on that one though

I've been absolutely terrible for playing single player games this year… I can't even really explain why I just forever got distracted by real life or easy to drop into multiplayer games.

But the first game I boot up in the new year will be Elden Ring.

I'm about 65 hours in and loving every minute of it, I just haven't been persistent with playing it. Once that's finished, I'll play Stray as a short change of pace before a coin flip between the Horizon or GoW sequels.

Happy New Year, OP! 🥳

Signalis will be my first game in 2023, I installed it a few days ago but I haven't had a chance to play it yet, I'm very curious about this game.

Might finally play the first Hitman after rewatching Casino Royale and finding it to be a perfect movie. Other than that I'm not sure besides some more Phasmophobia/DMZ with friends.
