Are they planning something else? Something more important for the franchise? Ten episodes doesn't seem like a lot for a year, 10 episodes doesn't feel like a real series

These are the first ever original designs right? Not based on sentai?
PR has had a few.

-The aforementioned Titanium Ranger from Lightspeed Rescue.
-The A-Squad Rangers and Boom's imaginary stint as the Orange Ranger in S.P.D. (the helmets were repainted Space Ranger helmets, though).
-The Spirit Rangers from Jungle Fury, three astrally projected Rangers based on the core three Rangers' auxiliary Zords.
-The comics and games have their own new designs, like Lord Drakkon, the Omega Rangers (not to be confused with the Omega Ranger from S.P.D.), Super Legends' Future Omega Ranger (actually the Omega Ranger from S.P.D.), the Street Fighter collaborations...

It seems like the Cosmic Fury Rangers will be the first full-time team in the show to be original designs.

This is really interesting. Between the returning cast and original suits and original fight scenes, it seems like Hasbro is actually putting money into this series. I wonder why they decided to bail on reusing the sentai fights.

Possibly to prime the audience/fanbase on all-original footage in the reboot. Or as Bennett mentioned in the interview, to make it easier on the production crew that now doesn't have to match locations with the Japanese footage beyond giant monster battles.

Just saw this.
I can't believe we're getting completely original suits. We really are in a new era.
It would be interesting if they got the Kyuranger mechs for original giant fights.
