Of course I decided to finally get around to playing them on ps5 tsk tsk. Thank goodness they resolved the issue tho!

Going by that listing, the PC version might be based on the PS4 version instead of the current gen port?

That would be doubly cool imo. PS5 version messed with the look of the thing rather.
Lighting's a lot different in the newer version. I don't hate it, but I think the original looked better.
i wouldnt look too deep into that. if theres gonna be a pc release its gonna be based on the remaster anyway, the stadia/luna ports are too.
The ps5 version changes the lighting for the worse overall, so hopefully it's the original version of the game ported to pc
I played both on PS5 so have no real point of reference. It was just basically Like A Dragon which is not a slight.

Anyway I wonder if Johnny's "bent" or got convinced in some way, or if they've swapped out the likeness for this port. Some were very insistent that the latter couldn't be done because of the contract terms as well.

That being said I'd be surprised if that's not just the ESRB sorting it weird and it's still based on the "remaster."
They totally revamped the lighting engine for PS5/Xbox in a way I think looks significantly worse. Replaces the harsh colors and lighting for a more flat, realistic look.
