haha back in the early 2000s when mp3.com was a site, we made a band called Various Artists and the album was called Compilation and we packed in like 2k band names for the "sounds like" to our random noise.wav files we uploaded.
Fun vid but only because of John's commitment to counting the bullets / stamina. It's a level of detail you don't normally see in videos about shovel-ware asset swaps.

I do take exception to showing Garlic in the eshop when talking about low budget trash. That game is a low key banger
Kinda depressing that this game is currently 10th on the Switch eshop for download exclusives. I guess the 1 dollar price and the Last Of Us cover helps a lot!
It's even wilder to think about how the Switch originally launched with a ridiculously closed storefront that people spent months demanding that they open up to developers, and now we're at the opposite problem.
Oh, I think both games are often listed as 'bad' first-party titles. I think they're both fine. Redfall is more disappointing considering its developer but still! The point is - I wouldn't describe either as 'bad'. The Last Hope demonstrates what bad really means.
During this steam sale I've got "Car Racing Highway Driving Simulator, real parking driver sim speed traffic deluxe 2023" in the discovery queue.

Yep, this will absolutely lead to a significant number of people deciding to see how bad it is for themselves.
That hentai game is doing something I've seen loads of crap games doing recently, releasing a 'new' deluxe or extended or GOTY edition every couple of weeks, on a 90% discount, to be on the latest releases section all the time. I don't really agree with John's closing comment. Redfall is abysmal and it costs €70. I'd say it's a far worse value proposition than this trash for €1. I know which product I'd rather waste my money on...

Surprised people are speedrunning this game.
Is this not available in certain regions? Because I am using the search function on the eshop and not finding it. I'm using the US eshop. Only thing that pops up is Sparks of Hope and it's dlc for me
When people complain that review outlets don't use the full numerical scale, the outlets reasoning is that games like this would be the 1s and 2s. Redfall, Balan Wonderworld, etc. are nowhere near this bad, and they don't want to waste time reviewing truly awful games.
