I liked that Tamagotchi board game on the Wii. It's nice to have these types of games with different universes rather than just always Mario. Hopefully most of the mini-games in this one are fun.

It even has the day/night cycle from MP6, but it actually works perfectly in the context of DS.

My wife nor any of my friends give a crap about Demon Slayer so this isn't gonna work.

I was really hoping we'd get a proper sequel to Hinokami Chronicles that went into the later arcs.

Speaking as someone who binged the entire Manga in a single day I will give it a 7/10 however I will blame Demon Slayer for their movies and popularizing the concept of moviefying Anime seasons instead of....continuing the Anime with a normal season because now that cancer is spreading to other animes.

…Kinda want a Shonen Jump party game now. We got a Smash clone back in the day, why not a party title? So many board/mini-game potential based on the various Shonen Jump titles. Hell, I would also take a kart racer while we're at it.

In reality I think Mario Party came to be because that was a genre of games that already had some popularity in Japan back from the days of the Famicom, in the end Mario Party was first developed by Hudson Soft who were behind the popular Momotaro Dentetsu.

Also if I recall correctly Tamagotchi had board game for N64 that was Japan exclusive.

I feel like there were a lot of these lower budget anime-tie in games back in the PS2 era that got phased out as production costs for games increased.

This makes a ton of sense considering Demon Slayer is reportedly really popular amongst younger viewers.

I'm completely down for more MP/BoardGame style games to big franchises lol

I'm quite interested in this, but I have to see if it stands on its own merits and can appeal to someone who knows little to nothing about Demon Slayer. That's probably gonna be my deciding factor

The main complaint here is they are taking normal content and turning it into a movie instead of continuing the Anime the usual way while the anime is still ongoing and not only did the Dragon Ball movies happened after the Anime already ended (meaning they are not happening between an ongoing series) but they are also new content and they are not regurgitating content that would have been a normal season.

It's like instead of the Anime continuing normally after the Android Saga they instead make a movie for the Cell Saga and the very next season picks up at the start of the Buu Saga that's the complaint here.

Well, most series that do this will have recap episodes for said movies anyway.

That would make more sense if Sega is just the Western publisher, although Aniplex has published games in the West before.
