Oh, you would be surprised. I know I didn't, I also know this is just one game.I don't think anyone expected the S to have them. No one should be surprised.
Oh thanks. I didnt understand the tweet. As a 2060 owner I know RT is expensive but damn at going from 4k to 1080pThey have four different video support modes included:
-Native 4K with RT on at 30fps
-Native 4k with RT off at 60fps
-1080p with RT on at 60fps
-1080p with RT off at 120fps
watch dogs legion iirc
It runs at 4K w/ RT on PS5 too. But they both run at 30 fps. This tweet makes it sound like the game will render at 4K with RT. That's quite the jump from 1080p on PS5.
The lack of RT on the Series S version is expected I guess.

I know they had to put it in there for folks that do care about visuals above all else, but yeaaaaaaaah, DMC at anything less than 60 is disgusting.Oh thanks. I didnt understand the tweet. As a 2060 owner I know RT is expensive but damn at going from 4k to 1080p
And gross at the 30fps mode haha
Most devs so far promised parity on both consolesOh yeah, I completely forget about the 4K 30fps RT mode. They didn't mention 4K RT framerate in this tweet so maybe it's the same on the Series X.

to let series S owners know that they won't have that feature.if this is the same for both XSX and PS5, I guess why the tweet specific for Xbox? Just to share the details about Series S?
I've no doubt it'll hit Series X. Series S tho? Likely not.Now I wonder if that Minecraft rt demo will be released on consoles
They still hadn't talked about the Series X version if I'm not mistaken.if this is the same for both XSX and PS5, I guess why the tweet specific for Xbox? Just to share the details about Series S?
tweet makes it sound like Series S has a 120fps mode, probably not though
Gears 5 has a 120 fps mode on the Series S, I won't put it past this game having one.
Has DMC ever been 30 FPS before? They have four different video support modes included:
-Native 4K with RT on at 30fps
-Native 4k with RT off at 60fps
-1080p with RT on at 60fps

Not good, this could lead to devs not wanting to rely on ray tracing too much for next-gen exclusive games, because they also have to implement traditional lighting for Series S game versions, which would eliminate on of the big advantages of ray tracing (less dev resources needed).
In all likelihood it's for optimization and ray tracing currently isn't working too well for the Series S.Wait huh? Why do they have to patch it in for Xbox? PS5 is getting Ray Tracing day one right?
